Today, Ugandan singer-songwriter Jon Muq announces his debut album Flying Away produced by Dan Auerbach, set for release May 31 on Easy Eye Sound. His new single “Shake Shake” is a joyous afropop-inspired dance song accompanied today by a music video  from noted director Robert "RoboShobo" Schober (The Killers, Green Day, Hermanos Gutiérrez).

Marcus King announced the release of his new Rick Rubin produced album, Mood Swings, released on April 5 via American/Republic Records. In support of this new album, King also announced his 2024 headlining tour across North America and Europe produced by Live Nation and FPC Live!, in addition to dates supporting Chris Stapleton.

On Friday, February 9, Atlanta-based guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Tinsley Ellis' new album, Naked Truth, was released on Alligator Records. On Naked Truth (his 21st album), Ellis swaps his blistering, guitar-fueled full band performances for equally passionate, soul-searching acoustic folk blues. His famed guitar chops and musical creativity are on full display throughout the album’s 12 songs, including nine newly written originals.

Guitar virtuoso Julian Lage has released the fourth song from his vivid and wondrously textured new Blue Note album, Speak To Me. The acoustic-guitar-based ballad “Nothing Happens Here” features Kris Davis on piano, Patrick Warren on keys, and Levon Henry on saxophone, alongside Dave King on drums and Jorge Roeder on bass. Fresh off the heels of the G3 Reunion Tour with Joe Satriani and Steve Vai comes news that Eric Johnson will be honored by the Texas Heritage Songwriters Association on February 24, 2024 as he takes his place in the prestigious Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame. This momentous occasion will be marked by a weekend celebration where Eric will be joined by esteemed fellow inductees including Jack Ingram, Jon Randall, Ruthie Foster and Terry McBride.

This summer, the high octane of New Orleans' Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue take center stage on a headlining tour with support from legendary Big Boi from Outkast. The run will begin in June and includes the Hollywood Bowl in LA on September 4.  An additional date in June includes The Rooftop at Pier 17 with support from Neal Francis. Legendary Rock & Roll Hall of Fame musician and songwriter DAVE MASON announces plans to join the iconic BEACH BOYS this coming spring and summer (more dates TBA). The new dates are in addition to Mason’s previously announced spring 2024 tour plans; the Traffic Jam tour is set to begin February 29 in Florida and run through April 13th in San Antonio, TX.
