The self-described indie jam rock quintet Goose took their show to the Golden State for an incredible, almost week-long run. Stops included Oakland, Los Angeles, Dana Point, and of course, Santa Barbara on September 29, 2023, at the Santa Barbara Bowl. This show was nothing short of inspiring, as the band and crowd were both collectively feeling the California magic.

Fifty years after Gram Parsons’ passing, Amoeba Music and Polly Parsons have announced the release of a special two-LP live recording from Gram Parsons and the Fallen Angels titled The Last Roundup: Live from the Bijou Cafe in Philadelphia March 16th, 1973, the first available live performance of Parsons and the Fallen Angels and his first new solo material to be released in four decades.

Rufus and Martha Wainwright are extremely happy to announce the date and some details for their annual Christmas show, “A Not So Silent Night,” to take place at The Town Hall on December 22. A family tradition, the two siblings will be joined by their immediate family as well other members of the Wainwright and McGarrigle clans. Emmylou Harris is a part of the tradition too. She has been a part of almost every Christmas show since its inception since she had a strong creative history with the Wainwrights’ mother, Kate McGarrigle. Norah Jones is also a returning guest to the annual show.
The voices of not one, but two Sierras — Ferrell and Hull — will echo through the Sierra Nevada mountains when the eighth annual WinterWonderGrass Tahoe festival takes place April 5-7 at Palisades Tahoe ski resort. Ferrell is one of four featured headliners; the Devil Makes Three, The Infamous Stringdusters and Paul Cauthen also top the list of bluegrass, jamgrass, Americana and roots-music performers appearing at the family-friendly festival, for which VIP and general-admission tickets go on sale today.
After an eight-year recording hiatus, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out are announcing the release of TWO new singles this week: "Heading East To West Virginia" and "When I Get There." Both songs will be available to radio and digital streaming services Friday, October 6th.
