Town Mountain released their anticipated Lines in the Levee last Friday via New West Records. The 11-song collection was produced, engineered, and mixed by the multiple Grammy Award nominated Justin Francis (Kacey Musgraves, Orville Peck, Anti-Flag) at Ronnie’s Place in Nashville, TN. Hailing from Asheville, NC, Town Mountain is the sum of all of its vast and intricate influences — this bastion of alt-country rebellion and honky-tonk attitude pushed through the hardscrabble Southern Appalachian lens of its origin.

This song was created in conjunction with Everland who’s Forest Plan is in response to the urgent call, presented at the 2021 Climate Change Conference, to end deforestation by 2030.

McBride is the Artistic Director of the historic Newport Jazz Festival, New Jersey Performing Arts center (NJPAC) and the TD James Moody Jazz Festival, and the National Jazz Museum in Harlem. Crugie Riccio, of the ‘90s Hoboken, NJ power trio (later quartet) Cycomotogoat, and Bobby Lurie (AKA Blurry), a veteran drummer who’s played with jazz greats Buddy Collette and Dewey Redman, have formed the songwriting and recording duo Super User Friendly. They have released their debut double LP Señor Gato on Sniff These Records.
