From honky-tonk angels to sinners and saints, the Muddy Roots Music Festival in Cookeville, TN had something for everyone and a whole lot for folks that love it all. Clearly defined genres were boldly represented and appreciated by loyal fans, and musicians that dwell in the indefinable world of music strutted their talents to equally adoring crowds. This is the 7th year for the fest located in the rolling hills if middle Tennessee.

The magical UK supergroup that is The Darkness revealed the North American dates on their Blast of Our Kind tour launching October 9th in Pomona, CA in support of fourth album Last of Our Kind - released June 2nd via Kobalt Label Services.  Last of Our Kind's title track features audio clips from over 500 Darkness fans, 15 of whom make a special appearance in the brand new video: http://bit.ly/1VN9qfc.

Five-piece, Colorado-based Americana roots troubadours, Von Stomper, will release their second full-length album, Américado, on September 19, 2015. The all-original 12-song LP brings the band’s latest musical revelations and “circus-freak panache” (Marquee Magazine) to a growing catalog of American roots revival music. Von Stomper will tour the nation this fall throughout September and October. Full list of tour dates below.

TAUK, arguably the hottest instrumental prog-fusion quartet out of New York City, know how to close the summer parties right. After spending the summer hitting the festival circuit and playing some of the countries largest venues, including the opening spot at the sold out Umphrey’s McGee appearance at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO in July.
