In the luminous realm of rock 'n' roll, few stars have shone as brightly and uniquely as Ray Davies. On this, his 80th birthday, we at Grateful Web raise our glasses and our hearts to the man who has not only weathered the shifting tides of musical eras but has shaped them with a poetic touch and a keenly observant eye.

Terrapin Crossroads is thrilled to unveil the full lineup and further details for Sunday Daydream Vol 3, taking place on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at McNears Beach in San Rafael. This event, inspired by the many incredible outdoor shows at the old Terrapin Crossroads, is one of two all-day festivals celebrating music, community, spirit, family, and fun against the stunning backdrop of Marin County's bay shoreline. The second festival, Sunshine Daydream Vol 4, is scheduled for August 18, 2024.

Sunday Daydream Vol. 3 Lineup:

Award-winning singer-songwriter Grace Pettis has released her cathartic new record Down To The Letter. Following her critically acclaimed Working Woman album, Pettis' much-anticipated sophomore MPress Records release pulls no punches and captures the Nashville-based, Alabama-Austin-raised singer-songwriter at the peak of her songwriting powers.

New Jersey singer-songwriter, Jake Thistle and UK singer-songwriter, St. Lundi have teamed up for a string of east coast tour dates this summer.  The two songwriters will co-headline and make stops in New York City, Annapolis, New Hampshire, and Sommerville, MA.  Both artists will be touring in support of recent releases.  Jake Thistle’s EP Live from the Transparent Gallery and St. Lundi’s new single “Say So,” will be released just in time for the tour. New York City-born/raised singer Morley lives and breathes the pulse of the city with her luminous voice taking center stage on her renowned catalog of recordings. On September 27, 2024, Morley shares the next chapter in an acclaimed career with the release of a new full-length studio album, Follow The Sound, co- produced with Chris Bruce (producer of Lizz Wright's Shadow and Meshell Ndegeocello's forthcoming sophomore Blue Note Records album, No More Water: The Gospel of James Baldwin).

ROSS VALORY today (June 20) marks the summer solstice by rolling out a dazzling video for his interpretation of funk-rockers War’s classic cruising anthem “Low Rider.” It’s one of the highlights from the original Journey bassist and songwriter’s current debut solo album ALL OF THE ABOVE (OID Music). Watch the video HERE.

Jennifer Westwood’s latest album, Madman's World, is a bold declaration of American roots music, infused with a modern edge that marries Stax-sized soul, gospel grit, and dive-bar rock & roll. It's a sound crafted for Rust Belt roadhouses, Texas honky-tonks, and Memphis pool halls — a sound that's uniquely and proudly her own.

Ah, the magic man has left the stage, and the world feels a little emptier, a little less enchanted today. Donald Sutherland, that chameleon of the silver screen, took his final bow on June 20, 2024. From the riotous halls of Delta House to the haunting whispers of war-torn fields, Donald's career was a kaleidoscope of characters and stories that left an indelible mark on our collective consciousness. Here at Grateful Web, we bow our heads in reverence and celebration of a life lived in technicolor brilliance.

The third annual Northlands Music and Arts Festival rolled into Day Two on June 14, 2024, with what can only be described as a stacked, jam-band-friendly lineup. This event took place at the Cheshire Fairgrounds in Swanzey, NH, and went on without any rain during the live music.

Once again, great things happen when the country music community comes together for a cause! Country For A Cause pulled out all the stops during their CMA Fest 2024 concert at Nashville's 3rd & Lindsley and raised $70,000 for Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and celebrated the 10th Anniversary with a four-hour show like no other!
