After two pandemic years off, Boston Calling returned to the Harvard Athletic Complex in 2022. Building off of last year’s success, the festival continues to grow even bigger in 2023. On a mild sunny afternoon, tens of thousands of people descended upon Boston on Friday, for the first day of the event.

Pickathon has announced both the full Comedy Lineup and the Vinyl DJ Lineup, plus three new artists for the Music Lineup including rising acts Brittany Davis, Small Paul, and Cat Clyde. This year, after four years and 60 million dollars of renovation, the 2023 Beale Street Festival reopened in Tom Lee Park along the riverside in downtown Memphis Tennessee. At the height of Beale Street's popularity in 2017, the event saw 37,000 fans crowd the park. Attendance numbers this year were smaller and saner, with crowds of around 10,000 daily. This was in part a deliberate effort to keep the newly planted park-plants from being trampled into oblivion.
