Tickets for the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum’s 2022 Concert and Induction Ceremony, set for Tuesday, November 22 at 7 p.m. CT at the Historic Nashville Municipal Auditorium, are on sale now.

The celebratory evening will be hosted by Academy of Country Music Award-winning singer-songwriter Phil Vassar and will pay tribute to some of music’s most revered instrumentalists, artists, producers, and engineers.

Paramount+ today announced that THE DAY THE MUSIC DIED: THE STORY OF DON McLEAN’S “AMERICAN PIE” will premiere exclusively on the service Tuesday, July 19, both in the U.S. and internationally where the service is available. Additionally, the documentary will have a special Academy qualifying run in New York City and Los Angeles starting on July 8 and will screen in Showcase Cinemas and associated theaters globally on July 14 and July 17.

The MV Concert Series has added new shows by Grammy winners, soul icons, folk legends and some of the top artists touring the country. The new additions to an already thrilling summer lineup include Grammy half of farmers Blind Boys of Alabama and Don McLean as well as Grammy winner Ani DiFranco. All of the shows of the MV Concert Series will be played at Loft in Oak Bluffs, the Martha’s Vineyard Performing Arts Center (MVPAC) also in Oak Bluffs and The Old Whaling Church in Edgartown.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of American Pie, the album and single, Don McLean was recently presented with a plaque for multi-platinum certifications for "American Pie" and a platinum certification for "Vincent".
