SXSW will spotlight more New Orleans acts than ever next week, a crop that spans everything from jazz, folk and pop to death metal, indie rock and bounce. At the top that list sits New Orleans' ambassadors of funk, Ivan Neville's DUMPSTAPHUNK.

Cleveland's beloved soul/rock band Winslow will be taking their talents to the south, Austin to be specific, to play at this year's South by Southwest. The band will be headlining the Cleveland Rocks Showcase, sponsored by the city's legendary Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Nicki Bluhm and The Gramblers announce that they will continue their 2013 North American tour with performances at Bonnaroo, Newport Folk Festival and Mountain Jam in Hunter, NY, Hangout in Gulf Shores, AL and Strawberry Music Festival in Yosemite, CA this summer.  The band is also pleased to announce their South By Southwest schedule as this year is their inaugural appearance at the legendary festival in Austin, TX.Earlier this year, NB&TGs released two new original songs “Little Too Late” and “Ravenous” which they have been performing in their live shows as well

SXSW will see two of Canada and electronic music's most visionary and influential artists "in conversation," capping off their convergence-focused music programming on Tuesday, March 12 at 5:00 pm at the Austin Convention RICHIE HAWTIN will engage on-stage with deadmau5 one of the most globally-renowned electronic artists period. Together, they are considered the most innovative in terms of music's interaction with technology.

The Ragbirds are heading to Austin, TX to their first showcase performance at SXSW. A band to watch in 2012, The Ragbirds just released their fourth studio release, Travelin' Machine, now available for review.

Drexel University's MAD Dragon Records (MDR) and Motion City Soundtrack's recently launched record label, The Boombox Generation, are pleased to announce the official Making Moves kick-off showcase at the annual South by Southwest Music Conference in Austin, Texas. The event will take place on Wednesday, March 14th at Clive Bar, with the first performance starting at 8PM.

Danish songwriter/composer Agnes Obel will be making her North American debut next week in Austin at SXSW. Agnes will play three special shows plus her US radio performance debut on KCRW. The live session with KCRW will air on Saturday, March 19 at 4:00pm EST / 3:00pm CST. After gracing stages in Austin, Agnes will make her way to New York City for a special one-night only performance at Rockwood Music Hall on Tuesday, March 22.

Jon Dee Graham, Freedy Johnston and Susan Cowsill have united to form the Hobart Brothers & Lil’ Sis Hobart. The trio, backed by drummer Russ Broussard and bassist Andrew Duplantis, will make their live debut during SXSW week in a series of Austin appearances.

SXSW is thrilled to announce Yoko Ono as a very special featured speaker for the 25th Music Conference and Festival. Ms. Ono will sit down with Jody Denberg for a SXSW Interview on Friday March 18th. From her pioneering work in the Fluxus movement of the 1960s to the recent Imagine Peace Tower in Iceland, Ono's art has challenged and informed, melding the personal to the universal in simple and unique ways. Her marriage and creative collaboration with John Lennon was a love story played out on the global stage.

Scala & Kolacny Brothers are, technically, a choir with a rotating roster of more than 200 young Belgian women (with 20 or so usually performing at any one time), with one conductor (Stijn Kolacny) and one pianist/composer (Steven Kolacny).
