Dead Floyd is a celebration of the music of two of rock and roll’s greatest bands, The Grateful Dead and Pink Floyd, mashed together into one high-energy, unpredictable show. Legendary blues preservationists Hot Tuna performed a three-night engagement in Berkeley’s storied Freight & Salvage Coffeehouse to bid farewell to 2018. On the eve of their fiftieth anniversary together as Hot Tuna, Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady were unmistakably grateful to be still playing and creating together.

SnowGlobe Music Festival presented by MTV returned this past weekend to California’s breathtaking Sierra Nevada Mountains to host the country’s largest outdoor New Year’s music festival. With over 40 groundbreaking artists performing on multiple stages over 3 nights, the 8th annual event saw approximately 20,000 daily attendees throughout the weekend. The 2018 event brought in the new year with expanded and newly designed gathering areas including the MTV Lodge, unique art installations, Big Air ski and snowboard showcases between Main Stage sets, firework displays and more.
