Live-electronic pioneers Big Gigantic return to their home state for the 13th annual edition of Rowdytown, set for Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Fresh off the release of their new album FLUORESCENCE, Big G promises one of their most dynamic performances yet—featuring three unique sets, a massive production upgrade, and special appearances from fan-favorite collaborators.

Rowdytown 13: What to Expect

This year’s Rowdytown will showcase:

  • “Bring The Funk Back” Set – a nostalgic look at Big G’s roots.

  • Rowdytown Headlining Performance – their high-energy live show.

  • Big Gramatik (Big Gigantic + Gramatik) – reviving the celebrated fusion project.

The night also features performances from Maddy O’Neal, plus a stacked lineup including Cherub, DENM, Jennifer Hartswick, ProbCause, Lady Blackbird, and more.

The 2025 theme, “Rowdytown Rodeo,” invites fans to dress the part. As the band puts it:

“Where the rave meets the rodeo. Hold on tight, it’s gonna be a wild ride—boots, buckles, beats, and big drops.”

Big Gigantic: Evolution and Homecoming

Over a decade into their career, Dominic Lalli (sax/production) and Jeremy Salken (drums/production) continue to inspire crowds worldwide by fusing live instrumentation with genre-defying electronic production.

FLUORESCENCE, their first full-length LP in three years, reflects their ongoing evolution—melding Big G’s horn-driven sound with collaborations from Ganja White Night, Blanke, Lady Blackbird, Daily Bread, and more.

Red Rocks has always held special significance for the duo. Since debuting Rowdytown in 2012, the event has grown into a Colorado tradition renowned for immersive 3D visuals, surprise guests, and an unparalleled sense of community.

About Big Gigantic

Formed in 2008 in Boulder, Colorado, Big Gigantic blends saxophone, drums, and forward-thinking production into a sound that bridges jazz, funk, hip-hop, and bass music. Their performances—anchored by Lalli’s soaring sax leads and Salken’s thunderous drumming—have lit up stages at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Ultra, Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, Austin City Limits, and Outside Lands, as well as international festivals across Europe, South America, and Asia.

Their discography spans 10 studio projects, from early works Fire It Up and Wide Awake (2009) to Nocturnal (2012), Brighter Future (2016), Free Your Mind (2020), and Brighter Future 2 (2022), featuring collaborations with Aloe Blacc, GRiZ, Elohim, Vic Mensa, and Kota the Friend.

Beyond the music, Big Gigantic is deeply committed to philanthropy. Through their A Big Gigantic Difference Foundation, the duo donates a portion of every ticket sold to charities nationwide. Their work with Denver nonprofit Youth on Record funded a music production lab for underserved youth, underscoring their belief in music as a tool for empowerment.
