The Band
Sean Chambers and the members of Savoy Brown first connected after playing a festival together in 2019. Fast forward to 2023: shortly after the unfortunate passing of Savoy Brown’s founder and leader, Kim Simmonds, guitarist Sean Chambers teamed up with the Savoy Brown Rhythm Section — Pat De Salvo (bass) and Garnet Grimm (drums).
Being that Savoy Brown and Chambers are on the same label, Quarto Valley Records, the partnership felt natural. Simmonds himself gave the trio his blessing shortly before his passing in December 2022.
With the release of Sean Chambers Live Featuring The Savoy Brown Rhythm Section, these three accomplished musicians have come together to create one of the most entertaining and powerful musical trios on the scene today. Chambers, De Salvo, and Grimm continue to tour across the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
About Sean Chambers
Florida-born Sean Chambers began his blues career in 1998 when he toured with the legendary Hubert Sumlin as his guitarist and band leader until 2003. During this time, Guitarist Magazine (UK) named Chambers as “One of the Top 50 Blues Guitarists of the Last Century.”
