Late-Nite Productions and One Vision Entertainment will mark the summer solstice in style when the Fifth Annual Truckee Reggae Fest returns to the Truckee Regional Park Outdoor Amphitheater (10500 Brockway Road, Truckee, CA) on Saturday, June 21, 2025. Gates open at 3 p.m., and music will roll straight through 10 p.m., offering fans of every generation a full afternoon and evening of positive vibrations beside the Truckee River.
This year’s lineup is led by Jamaican legend Barrington Levy, whose unmistakable voice helped define the golden era of dancehall, and UK hit-maker Pato Banton, beloved for his uplifting, audience-friendly shows. Northern California stalwarts Mystic Roots and Triple Tree add their high-energy fusion of reggae, hip-hop, and rock, while Stay Positive Sound, DJ Dubfyah, and rising local singer-songwriter Lake Anthony round out a bill that promises deep grooves, conscious lyrics, and irresistible dance-floor moments from the first bassline to the last encore.
General-admission tickets start at $49 plus tax and fees and are on sale now at Ticketweb.com. Fans hoping to skip most service charges can purchase in person at a network of regional outlets: Buttermuffin Smoke Shop in South Lake Tahoe; Higher Elevation Smoke Shops in Incline Village, Truckee, and Quincy; New Moon Natural Foods in Truckee and Tahoe City; and Recycled Records in Reno. The festival is open to all ages, though out of consideration for other guests, infants and strollers will not be admitted.
Between sets, concert-goers can explore a bustling vendor village stocked with artisan crafts and apparel, sample global flavors from a curated food court, and raise a pint in a riverside beer garden that benefits the Truckee Tahoe Humane Society. Live art installations and spontaneous jam sessions will keep the atmosphere buzzing, ensuring that the entire park feels like one continuous celebration of reggae culture and Sierra-mountain community spirit.
Since its launch, Truckee Reggae Fest has welcomed luminaries such as Julian and Ky-Mani Marley, Don Carlos, Third World, and Black Uhuru, earning a reputation for pairing authentic Caribbean roots with the laid-back beauty of the High Sierra. The 2025 edition continues that tradition, inviting fans to dance beneath the pines, celebrate life, and welcome summer’s longest day with timeless island rhythms.
