Jerry’s birthday brings sweet news for Front Range Deadheads: Melvin Seals & JGB return to the Boulder Theater for two nights, Friday, October 31 and Saturday, November 1, 2025, with an immersive Halloween light experience by Liquid JPEG turning the room into a swirling, analog-meets-digital dream. Presented by 97.3 KBCO, doors open at 7:00 pm and the show starts at 8:00 pm both nights. General admission (limited seating) and tickets for both nights are available now.
Organ maestro Melvin Seals—Jerry Garcia’s longtime B-3 foil and the man Garcia dubbed the “Master of the Universe”—leads the current JGB lineup featuring John Kadlecik (lead guitar, vocals), John-Paul McLean (bass, vocals), and Jeremy Hoenig (drums). Expect soul-drenched grooves, gospel lifts, and psychedelic detours that make every night its own trip.
Visuals come courtesy of Liquid JPEG, a Boulder-based analog/digital light-art team known for hand-made, mind-bending projections—perfect for a Halloween tie-dye time warp.
