Today, FNGRS CRSSD has unveiled the lineup for PROPER NYE/NYD 2025. Taking over Petco Park on December 31 and January 1, San Diego’s iconic year-end celebration will bring together multiple stages of world-class electronic talent for two nights of nonstop energy in the heart of the city.

The RUSH Tribute Project is an homage to one of the most enduring and influential bands in rock music and they will be performing Moving Pictures in its entirety along with bringing to life beloved hits Tom Sawyer, Red Barchetta, YYZ and Limelight. 

Say She She, the punk-chic discodelic funk trio born in NYC, has released “Disco Life,” the new single from their upcoming album Cut & Rewind (10/3, drink sum wtr). Packed with syncopated rhythms, a bouncing bassline, and soaring harmonies that shimmer over the beat, the song sounds like a full-on Studio 54 soiree.

On Friday, October 31, Alligator Records will reissue JJ Grey & Mofro's critically acclaimed album Orange Blossoms as a deluxe 2-LP vinyl set. The album, pressed on special sunburst splash vinyl and housed in a high-quality, gatefold jacket with previousy unreleased photos, is newly remastered and spins at 45rpm to deliver the best possible sound.

Today, acclaimed Nashville singer/songwriter Todd Snider announces that his new LP HIGH, LONESOME AND THEN SOME. will release on October 17 via Lightning Rod Records. Produced by Aaron Lee Tasjan, Robbie Crowell and Joe Bisirri, the record is a stripped-down, juke-joint album of nine tracks, each of them steeped in the blues.

Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Tift Merritt celebrates the 20th anniversary of her landmark album Tambourine today with a two-part release: a vinyl reissue of the record and Time and Patience, a companion album of unreleased demos and home recordings from the early 2000s. Both are available now via One Riot Records.

The organizers of the Rockopelli Music Festival embody this ethos. For fourteen years, Rockopelli has brought together artists, activists, and musicians to support the Northwest Indiana community, channeling proceeds from the annual event into scholarships and local charities. Since its start in 2012, the festival has raised over $100,000 for student scholarships while donating to various local causes. This year’s charity event, held at Crown Point’s Bulldog Park, featured four diverse bands united by the same spirit of community.

Earl Scruggs Music Festival concluded its triumphant 2025 event this weekend, drawing more than double in attendance since last year.

Italian guitarist and composer Andrea Zacchia returns with Anemoia, his second album and first on Filibusta Records, out May 30, 2025. Built around the dynamic energy of a Hammond trio, the album features Pietro Caroleo (Hammond organ) and Maurizio De Angelis (drums), blending modal jazz, post-bop, groove, and nostalgic imagination.
