Last night, the 35th Annual Tibet House US Benefit Concert went virtual for the second year in a row, offering viewers from around the world the unique opportunity to experience the warmth, sense of community, amazing music and extraordinary spoken word performances the evening has provided for so many years pre-pandemic at Carnegie Hall.

Northlands is thrilled to announce that after a nearly three year hiatus, Hayley Jane & The Primates and are bringing a reunion show to the stage at their weekend long music and arts festival June 24-25, 2022.

When singer, fiddler, songwriter, and composer Lily Henley set out to make an album of Sephardic Jewish ballads set to new melodies, she was looking for her own way to interpret a tradition that she saw as critically endangered. With Oras Dezaoradas, to be released on May 6, 2022 on Lior Éditions, Henley wanted to highlight the Ladino language, a threatened tongue that fuses old Spanish with Hebrew, Arabic, and Turkish elements and is spoken by less than 100,000 people in the world today.

Rising Americana singer/songwriter Jeremie Albino is excited to announce details of his forthcoming six song EP titled Past Dawn. Produced by Michael Trent of Shovels & Rope, the collection is set for release on April 1st via Good People Record Co.

The reggae icon looks toward love with his newest single “Guiding Star” due out on Naya Records. Reflecting back on the new single Clinton comments, “I love how the simplicity of the riddim carries the emotions all along the song, it brings back a lot of memories to heart and soul. I'm happy how the song turned out.”
 

For a band named Birds of Play, it’s no surprise that avian references abound in their work. Hence the title of their new album, Murmurations Vol. 2, releasing Feb. 25 as the follow-up to their September 2021 album, Murmurations Vol. 1. The band will celebrate the release date with a hometown performance at the Sheridan Opera House, 110 N. Oak St. in Telluride. Showtime is 9 p.m. Reserved balcony tickets are $30; general-admission floor tickets are $20 (plus a $5 ticketing fee for each).
