What started one year ago as an innocent social media game, when Facebook friends and fans suggested artists they would like to cover Wesley Stace a.k.a. John Wesley Harding’s songs, became a reality with the Community Coronation Covers Project, a community-curated playlist featuring myriad well-respected artists. The tracks have now been gathered on Bandcamp as The Good Lyre: Songs of John Wesley Harding, available Fri., April 2.

Grammy-winning songwriter and producer Daniel Lanois releases his new album Heavy Sun through eOne, the first release under his new "Maker Series" brand. “We want to lift people’s spirits with this music,” says Lanois. “It’s so easy to feel isolated right now, but we want everyone to feel included in what we’re doing.”

On April 23rd, Austin-based musician Danny Golden will release his new EP Changes, the followup to Golden’s 2018 full-length Old Love.

Anne Harris’ new single 'Over' was written for her by Markus James, with whom she began collaborating a few years ago. It is the first publicly released song born of this collaboration.  These two visionary Blues/American Roots artists have created an intriguing sound that, while rooted in acoustic blues, folk, and old-time traditions, reaches far beyond and into the future to encompass a unique view of what happens when those foundational influences mingle without boundaries in a postmodern world of cultural cross-pollination.

Lauren Murphy is a veteran singer-songwriter with close to two decades of experience, mostly in the San Francisco rock arena. Relocating to Fairhope, AL, in 2015 following the death of her husband and music partner, Zero vocalist Judge Murphy, she assembled her Nappie-Nominated high energy band, "The Psychedelics."  Her latest CD, Psychedelics, is her fifth.  It was recorded in Mobile, AL, at Dauphin Street Sound, founded by former SF Giants pitcher Jake Peavy.

Robert Allen Parker is a Memphis-based guitarist / songwriter / producer & veteran of both the creative midtown Memphis music scene as well as the downtown Memphis blues scene. Today, hear his new track "Speed of Light" ahead of its release exclusively on Grateful Web. His guitar style beckons the long line of blues rock greats; Cream-era Clapton, Steve Marriott, Hendrix, Leslie West & Duane Allman. Known for their live performances, The Good Bad are a mainstay in the Northern Californian Bluegrass scene since 2010. On their label debut the band have delivered two heartfelt tracks as part of Dutch Records singles series that showcases music from bands they love. Labeling The Good Bad as Bluegrass would not give credit to the unique tones, blends of genres and vibe that puts them into a category of their own.
