The 17th Annual Last Waltz Revisited will showcase members of Polytoxic together with 70+ musicians from across Colorado; this show has become an annual tradition, bringing the community together to kick-off the holiday season. The musicians will perform the music of The Band and will celebrate the 44th Anniversary of The Band’s historical performance, The Last Waltz.

Amy Helm’s silken voice weaves together her third solo album, What the Flood Leaves Behind. The lyrics reflect pain, truth, and beauty and asks questions that don’t always have an answer. Recorded at Helm Studios in Woodstock, NY, What the Flood Leaves Behind is a shining example of Amy’s spirit of collaboration.

By the time The Band was ready to record their third album, Stage Fright, in 1970, they were riding high from having released back-to-back albums that solidified them as one of the most exciting and revolutionary groups of the late 1960s.

Who influenced who? I wasn’t introduced to The Band until after maybe my fifth Dead show. For me, this was the 90’s, still just a teenager. The popular music at that time, in my opinion, was nowhere near the caliber of the iconic bluegrass, folk, country, psychedelic, classic rock bands. I was diving into my parents’ world, my mind being blown, unfamiliar with the timeline of music influencers. Not as well known, The Band was the most influential in the development of the Dead’s sound.

Inspired by Robertson’s 2016 bestselling memoir Testimony, ONCE WERE BROTHERS: ROBBIE ROBERTSON AND THE BAND is a confessional, cautionary, and sometimes humorous tale of Robertson’s young life and the creation of one of the most enduring groups in the history of popular music. The film blends rare archival footage and interviews with many of Robertson’s friends and collaborators, including Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Scorsese, Taj Mahal, Peter Gabriel, David Geffen and Ronnie Hawkins, among others.

The Rambles at Levon’s Barn continue and everyone in attendance on Saturday night was enthralled by the musical creativity, the intimacy of the venue and the homey comfort of seeing a show that feels like you’re in your friend’s living room. Levon Helm Studios are in the Mid-Hudson Valley in Woodstock, NY. The audience is a mix of weekend visitors and locals. The atmosphere is friendly & relaxed.

The final show of 'The Last Waltz Tour' was held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Saturday, November 23rd, 2019 and featured special guest Robbie Robertson sans Turkey dinner for all. The 2019 tour honored The Band's iconic 1976 Thanksgiving Day farewell concert at the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco. Robertson, the lead guitarist for The Band, was also the organizer of the original concert.

Legendary songwriter and musician Robbie Robertson’s new holiday song “Happy Holidays” is an irreverent take on the holiday tune tradition, juxtaposing tongue-in-cheek lyrics about the duality of the yuletide season with some beautiful guitar melodies.

“We love Christmas and the holidays, it brings good cheer, and also stress and depression, so I wanted to do a song that celebrates both sides and have a little fun,” says Robertson.
