Today, the Colorado-based alt-country rock band Gasoline Lollipops release their new album Kill The Architect via ALP Recordings. Produced by longtime Los Lobos member Steve Berlin, the album tackles our struggle for balance and connection in the midst of political turmoil. Earlier this week, the band also released the semi-autobiographical video for “Tennessee Nights,” which charts frontman Clay Rose’s brief rendezvous with a couple of drug-running hopeless romantics in the hills of Tennessee.

On April 5, 2025, Gasoline Lollipops will ignite a night of awareness, empathy, and truth at the Bluebird Theater. Through the power of music and community, the band aims to offer a moment of clarity, unity, and healing—where confusion, rage, and fear can briefly give way to connection, dance, and solidarity.

The popular Colorado band, Gasoline Lollipops, is courting controversy and championing social justice with their politically charged new single, "Freedom Don’t Come Easy."

American music has long served as a platform for protest, with iconic songwriters like Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, and Nina Simone enriching this tradition. Their songs have not only contributed to the canon but, in many instances, have also shifted the social narrative.

Americana singer/songwriter Clay Rose is (the front-man of the Boulder alt-country rock band Gasoline Lollipops) has been added as support for Elephant Revival's Two-Night Run in the Ivy Ballroom at Surf Hotel March 29th & 30th.

GASOLINE LOLLIPOPS confirms their return to the Fox Theatre for a headline performance on December  31st. Tickets for the show, with support from Bonnie & Taylor Sims and Phoebe Hunt, are on sale now.

Gasoline Lollipops are an American alternative, country, folk rock punk quintette. The bands musical appeal spans several genres and styles of music as well as many avenues of life’s unpredictable situations. The songwriting that fuels the wild twists and turns this band presents are primarily the doing of Clay Rose. He is the man who wears his words on his sleeve and has no problem sharing them with the world.
