In a season of terrific shows, this past weekend NYC venue the Brooklyn Bowl had what no doubt was a good one. The six-hundred capacity spaced filled itself full out for a towering, full-throttle night of rock music, delivered by two northeast area bands: Brooklyn’s Of Clocks and Clouds and Connecticut’s leading jam-funk band Kung Fu.

Classic rock music fans turned out on a beautiful summer night, Sunday, August 12th, to see legendary rock singer Roger Daltrey of The Who perform with his solo project band. Warm, dry winds buffeted the small amphitheater adjacent to the Vina Robles winery, perhaps the most beautiful outdoor venue in all of California.
Outside Lands celebrated its 10th year this August but at first glance, it runs like its been going on for much longer. The caliber of food, drink, performers, and even extra-curricular activities is unmatched on most other festival grounds.

The Who returns to North American this month for select tour dates and unique concerts. Showing no signs of slowing down, Pete, Roger and entourage kick off on July 13 at Festival d’été de Québec followed by some east coast dates before settling into their six date Las Vegas residency at Caesars. Changing things up in September, the classical adaptation of Quadropenia that first debuted in London two years ago will premiere four dates in the states: Tanglewood, two night at The Met and one night at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
