2012 has been a transformational year for mankind. As I'm lying in bed drifting into sleep to the soundtrack of Jimi Hendrix's, 'Are You Experienced,' it dawns on me how similar the movements of 2012 have been to the concepts behind much of the music that transpired during the Summer of Love.

The album is a 10-song collection that captures the energy of this Charleston, SC band’s dynamic live show while serving as a culmination of their years together on the road. The result is Sol Driven Train’s most concise and song-oriented album to date.

Railroad Earth will celebrate the turn of the New Year in Portland, OR for three nights at the legendary Crystal Ballroom December 29th – 31st. Co-produced by Bryan Holmes of The Producers, Falling Slowly was mixed and mastered by two-time Grammy-winning producer Don McCollister, who’s worked with such top-selling artists as Sister Hazel, Indigo Girls, Third Day and Shawn Mullins.
