Two Phish related charities – Phish’s own WaterWheel Foundation and The Mimi Fishman Foundation have teamed together once again with an on-line fundraiser with 100% of the proceeds helping victims of Hurricane Sandy.The organizations are now accepting bids on several Phish New Years ticket packages.  The shows – which take place on 4 consecutive evenings at the end of December – sold out quickly.  Phish fans now have the opportunity to score tickets while at the same time helping to support Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.The auction can be found at the Mimi Fishman Foundation website – spec

Ruf Records announces the signing of guitarist/singer Devon Allman and a February 12, 2013, release date for his debut solo album, Turquoise. Ruf Records is distributed in the U.S. by the Allegro Corporation. Turquoise was produced and mixed by multi-Grammy winner Jim Gaines and recorded at his Bessie Blue Studios in Stantonville, Tennessee, as well as at Ardent Studios in Memphis.

On December 11, 2012, Phish will release "Star Lake 98", a brand new 2-DVD set recorded live on August 11, 1998 at Star Lake Amphitheatre in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania.

Acclaimed singer/songwriter Josh Rouse will release The Happiness Waltz on March 19 through Yep Roc Records. Sonically, The Happiness Waltz takes a trip back into Rouse’s early-2000’s period, a time when so many of his longtime fans really came on board. A number of the new tracks could easily find a home on the AM radio of the late 1970’s, nestled between some of the biggest songs of the day.
