It’s easy to overlook the grimy underside of small town America, but take away the idyllic Norman Rockwell visage and sometimes the only thing left is a mean spirit.

Singer-songwriter-guitarist Peter Mulvey and fellow Milwaukeeans, the in-demand dynamic duo SistaStrings have joined hands once again for a brand new studio album, Love Is The Only Thing, due out August 12th on Righteous Babe Records.

Peter Mulvey has been a songwriter, road-dog, raconteur and almost-poet since before he can remember. He started playing at Milwaukee’s Cafe Carpe when he was a kid, and 30 years later returned to record Peter Mulvey with SistaStrings: Live at the Cafe Carpe, set to be released on October 9 on Righteous Babe Records.
