The Mojo Gurus are led by singer/songwriter Kevin Steele who throughout his illustrious career has worked with some of the best producers in the music business including Jack Douglas (John Lennon, Aerosmith, The New York Dolls), Beau Hill (Ratt, Kix), Tommy Henricksen (Alice Cooper, Lou Reed, Hollywood Vampires) and Carl Canedy (The Rods, Anthrax, Roxx Gang). Kevin's critically acclaimed body of work has culminated in the Mojo Gurus’ latest record, GONE which he wrote, arranged and produced.
To celebrate the tenth annual DelFest we want to kick it off with a bang and have a couple announcements for Thursday.  First, many were wondering what happened to DMB's "Soundcheck" set which has become a festival favorite. The answer is we had set aside Thursday as an "And Friends..." to kick off our DelFest 10 Celebration.  We are pleased to announce that we have special guests for that night including Dan Auerbach (you know him as one half of the Black Keys), Preservation Horns of New Orleans, Jon Fishman, and Ronnie

Southern Blues Rocker Tinsley Ellis debuted his new side project Tinsley Ellis Blues Is Dead on April 9 at the three-day Skull and Roses Festival in Ventura, California alongside Melvin Seals and JGB, Leo Nocentelli, David Gans, Tom Constanten, Mark Karan and many other Grateful Dead-oriented acts.

At 78 years old, Del McCoury is not slowing down.  Today he digitally releases his new single, “You Could Be Me”.  Del continues to release singles as they are finished as a way to get them to fans now instead of having to wait for a full album.  This, and other, tracks will all eventually make their way to the next album but this gives listeners a peak into what the band is doing.
 

Delfest is going all out for their 10th Annual Festival lineup with additions including Railroad Earth, Tim O’Brien, The Gibson Brothers, artists at large Sierra Hull, Bryan Sutton, and Billy Strings, and multiple workshops. Delfest takes place over Memorial Day weekend, May 25-28 alongside the Potomac River in scenic Cumberland, MD. Ticket prices go up on March 7th.

The Travelin' McCourys started a very special string of shows called 'The Grateful Ball' in 2016. The show consists of a set of music from The Jeff Austin Band, a set of music from The Travelin' McCourys and then a set with both bands playing all Grateful Dead songs. While the band initially only planned to do one run, the success of the shows and demand from fans across the country made them rethink and plan a few more shows, this time on the West Coast.

DelFest 2017 will once again be held at the beautiful Allegany County Fairgrounds in Cumberland, MD (2.5 hrs from Baltimore and DC).  The festival originated from the desire to create a family-friendly music festival celebrating the rich legacy of McCoury music while creating a forum for world-class musical collaborations and to showcase fresh new talent with a down-home feeling.

Great American Taxi is excited to announce the much anticipated release of their new album "Dr. Feel Good's Traveling Medicine Show" on February 3rd.  They album features guest Duane Trucks (Hard Working Americans, Widespread Panic) on drums and is produced by Tim Carbone (Railroad Earth)

The Travelin’ McCourys have a lot to be excited about.  Today they announce the most extensive tour since their inception including several Grateful Ball dates (with Jeff Austin Band) and Bluegrass Ball dates across the country.  They also just released their first recorded single ‘Cumberland Blues’ and are announcing plans to release a new recorded song every month for the foreseeable future leading to the eventual release of a full album.
