Singer/songwriter Josh Ritter and indie-folk duo The Milk Carton Kids have teamed up for an Amazon Original reimagined version of Ritter’s song “Losing Battles.” Originally released on Ritter’s latest album Fever Breaks, “Losing Battles” is available now only on Amazon Music. The accompanying video was also released today. The track is available to stream and purchase HERE.

Guitarist Slim Gambill, releases “Over Getting Over You” with an exclusive  Parade.com debut. Parade describes the track as "...a 70's pop R&B groove with infectious vocals and some funky guitar playing." “Over Getting Over You” is the first single from Gambill’s forthcoming solo debut,  Fake Jazz & Theme Songs.

Today, Grammy-nominated band The Record Company released a reimagined version of their song “You and Me Now” available only on Amazon Music. Originally released on the band's acclaimed sophomore album, All Of This Life, the new Amazon Original version features production from the legendary T Bone Burnett and reveals a gentler, more subtle side of the band. The track is available to stream and purchase now. 

Today, singer-songwriter Ellis Paul releases the music video for "I Ain't No Jesus," the lead off track from his forthcoming album The Storyteller's Suitcase, out May 31 on his own Rosella Records label

Forever Overhead, the debut album from singer-songwriter Tim Baker, features eleven songs that centre on kinship. His buoyant first single "Dance" was about a longing for connection and feeling close to, but ultimately separated from, love. "All Hands," his joyous indie-folk single, again explores connections, but is less of a lament than a thank you letter, dedicated to the people who have helped Baker throughout his career, and part nostalgic anthem about his Newfoundland home.

Tuomo & Markus is a new musical project from acclaimed Finnish soul/jazz artist Tuomo Prättälä and singer/songwriter Markus Nordenstreng of The Latebirds. The duo’s music has been described as Nordic Americana and neo folk with distinct jazz, soul and prog-rock influences. Their haunting harmonies complement each other much like in the cases of Simon & Garfunkel or Crosby Stills Nash.

On August 17, Fruition will release a new EP Fire. A fan favorite among their live shows, the band have shared a video for their scorching live version of the title track, which they performed at Red Rocks last year. They'll return to Red Rocks August 18 for a show with Railroad Earth, and hit the road for an extensive fall tour to support the new EP.

Renowned bluesman Cedric Burnside grandson of legendary R.L. Burnside is gearing up for the release of BENTON COUNTY RELIC, out September 14 on Single Lock Records.  The first single is the gritty track "We Made It" a matter-of-fact recitation of his poverty-stricken childhood without running water, radio or TV (“I come from nothin’/I done been lower than low/I keep my head straight/No matter how low I go”).

Indie-folk singer/songwriter Andrew Combs is engaging in the highest order of flattery –a collection of cover songs. The acclaimed Nashville singer/songwriter announces his new EP 5 Covers & A Song with his version of The Strokes’ “Reptilia.” Brooklyn Vegan says, “He [Combs] gives it a bit of Americana twist too and he uses horns to re-create the main guitar riff, but he keeps the singing more true to the original.
