Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad’s fresh collaborative approach on their upcoming album Love In Time (out April 7 on Easy Star Records) - which finds the band leaning hard into the “squad” in their band name - is on full display on the record’s second single: “Revolution,” co-produced with Alborosie, and featuring Josh Swain of The Movement on vocals.

“It’s exciting to work with talented people outside the strict structure of a band,” says bassist/singer James Searl of Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad (GPGDS). That statement rang true during the creation of their diverse new album Love In Time, which comes out April 7th via Easy Star Records. Influenced by the need for more social and personal connection during the pandemic, GPGDS wanted to lean into the “squad” in their name by working and collaborating with artists outside of their tight knit circle.

“Long Way Home” is the second single and video from Marcus Gad & Tribe’s upcoming new album titled Ready For Battle, which is scheduled for a February 10, 2023, release. Gad, the rising reggae star from the island nation of New Caledonia, returns here to work with his usual backing band, Tribe, for a more organic, roots oriented sound. A warm contrast from his last project where he and his producer Tamal dived into modern, programmed beats on the Brave New World album (2021).
