Chico based singer songwriter, soulful key player and family man Pat Hull is back with a new single for Portland based Dutch Records. Being a roster mate with the likes of Swatkins, Ezra Bell, Shook Twins is no small feat, and he strolls right in with a this playful funky jam and earns his spot with flying colors. We asked Hull what the message behind “No Returns” is and here is what he had to say:

"Sometimes you’re hanging with your friends in Mandolin Orange after their show. Sometimes people get a little bored and decide to throw the Frisbee around. Sometimes tragedy strikes but there is a drunkenly happy ending. Sometimes you write a song about it.

Brontë Fall was inspired by Teri Bracken’s love of music, literature, and the strong ladies of history, who at the time when only men’s opinions were valued, defied the odds to have their voices heard. Bracken stumbled upon Emily Brontë’s poem, “Fall Leaves Fall” and fell in love with its message- to find beauty in the darker seasons of life. Knovo are back with their second single, Dizzy Kong, a funky romp of nostalgia and fleeting sentiments. After releasing their debut single “Fake” and performing a few shows, Knovo went into isolated lockdown like everybody else. Fortunately, the Dizzy Kong recording sessions happened before the quarantine, and the band worked remotely to wrap up the finishing pieces and arrangements.

British-American singer/songwriter Lilly Winwood is gearing up to release the official music video for her single “Few More Records." Winwood tells the story of her being burnt out on the road and struggling with her inner demons all while having a job to do. In the video, she quite literally brings that to life as the frames change between her selling records to dancing with her demon and embracing it.
