Singer/Songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Zach Gill has announced a four show run slated for California this August.   Billed as an “Evening With” these shows will take a dip into his solo catalog, highlighting compositions from his recent solo album Life In The Multiverse, and 2008’s Stuff as well as songs from his role as one of the founding members of ALO.  Currently on the road as a longtime member of Jack Johnson’s band, Gill and Johnson will appear tonight in Detroit, and on Sunday at Mountain Jam in Hunter, NY. Gill’s busy schedule with Johnson and ALO has kept him from playing many solo dates, so he’s particularly excited about this run.

As Gill recently relayed to fans on Facebook, "I’m really excited about these upcoming Multiverse shows. Once I committed in my mind to doing them it was like a shock wave of creativity took over my brain and for about two weeks, I could barely sleep as my imagination ran wild. For the last month, I’ve been building portals, experimenting with liquid lights, rewiring an animatronic head of Elvis Presley, dressing up in a lab coat and playing a ton of music in hopes of bringing you a night of music, laughter and magic that balances the head, the heart and the cosmos. I understand this is a lofty goal, but I’m up for the challenge...join me at all or one of these shows and together we will tour the multiverse.“

Tickets are on sale today at 10 am PST.

ALO is excited to announce their (lucky!) 13th annual Tour d’Amour. Held each year in February/March to surround Valentine’s Day, the tour is a celebration of LOVE - musically, communally, and in all of its many forms. The band is thrilled to announce some amazing openers (old friends and new), as well as a fundraising component for the victims of California’s recent wildfires. More info on the charitable component to come.

As with last year’s edition of Tour D’Amour, Dave Brogan, the band’s drummer and one of four lead vocalists, will be subbing out due to continued family obligations.  Continuing to hold down the drum chair will be longtime friend and collaborator Ezra Lipp (Phil Lesh, Sean Hayes, Magic in the Other). Ezra has been behind the kit most of 2018, including shows in NYC, Denver, Boston, Philly, DC and more. ALO is excited to keep building the collaborative energy with Ezra into the new year.

Openers for this year include Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, Scott Pemberton Band and special guests Tea Leaf Green for a special Saturday Fillmore "Hometown Throwdown". As usual, The Fillmore weekend will include two evenings of music plus a Saturday "Family Matinee" show. A limited # of discounted 2 night Fillmore passes will be available. Tickets to all shows go on sale this Friday (11/30) at 10am PST. Ticket links available at www.alomusic.com/shows.
