True Music Festival, a brand new festival experience coming to Scottsdale, Arizona, is pleased to announce the first round of performers for the inaugural event, which will be held at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick on December 14, 2013. The performer lineup at the multi-genre festival includes: wildly engaging EDM producer and DJ, Bassnectar; rock stalwarts, The Flaming Lips; hip-hop impresario, Wiz Khalifa; the indie-pop duo, Capital Cities; and indie-folk band, Lord Huron. More artists will be announced in the coming weeks, building off of these and other genres. In addition to a day of performances featuring a range of musicians, from nationally recognized artists to local favorites, the festival will also include a wide array of vendors, art installations, roving performers and more."We are incredibly excited to bring this level of talent to Arizona," says festival founder Jarid Dietrich. "This first round of artists should give people a glimpse at the direction we are headed and the unique experience we want to bring to the state."Leading the charge at True Music Festival, Bassnectar spans the spectrum of sonic style. Drawing inspiration from every genre imaginable, he shows no hesitation when it comes to fusing the familiar with the strange or the classic with the cutting edge. Genre bending in their own right, three-time Grammy award winners The Flaming Lips are known as much for their music as their ostentatious live shows. Utilizing costumes, balloons, puppets, video projections, complex light shows, confetti and just about anything else the band can find; The Lips set will be one not to miss. And, Best New Artist at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards, Wiz Khalifa has established himself as one of the brightest young stars to watch. His music is loaded with pure rap bangers and smash pop hits, adored by his loyal fan following across the globe.Holding to True Music Festival's pledge of presenting a multi-genre event that would appeal to all, the final two artists provide an indie blend of music not immediately noticeable in the previous three artists. With a hit single that quickly shot to #1 on modern rock radio and is currently climbing the Top 40 charts, it’s hard to believe that Capital Cities’ duel frontmen were once jingle writers who met on Craigslist. This Los Angeles-based indie-electro team creates music with an upbeat mesh of programming and melody primed for stardom. And while being equally as indie as Capital Cities, Lord Huron crafts a blend of folk-rock, that may be most appealing to fans of My Morning Jacket. With songs characterized by the wide open spaces of the mythic American West, Lord Huron creates a rootsy foundation layered with ingenious sonic dimensions. The multi-stage festival, which is a first for the area, will be held at the Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. Centrally located between Phoenix and neighboring Arizona State University, the venue is a part of a new 140-acre state-of-the-art complex, which serves as the spring training home of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies. Uniquely positioned on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, it is one of the most desirable geographic regions of the entire metropolitan Phoenix area.A limited allotment of pre-sale tickets will go on sale Tuesday, August 27 for $60, before moving to $70 for General Admission. Tickets will be available online at truemusicfestival.com/tickets and at the gate, but are subject to availability. VIP packages will be available starting at $130. SOMOS Albuquerque, a ten-day celebration highlighting the city’s vibrant art, music, food, and community taking place May 5 - 15, 2022, has announced it will be partnering with Relentless Beats for Dreamglow- a one-day concert experience. Featuring Big Gigantic, with support from Tokimonsta, Hannah Wants, and others, the event will take place May 14, 2022, at the Anderson Abruzzo International Balloon Museum Park.

In addition to the SOMOS Family Fiesta, Art Constellation, and Satellite Events that will immerse the community city-wide, Dreamglow will be much more than a concert experience with its own art installations, aerial artists, photo booth and Fractal Foundation’s Fractal Hot Air Balloon installation, adding elements of magic, awe, and wonder to Dreamglow’s setting. Featured artists across Dreamglow’s grounds include:

Mark Horst: This piece entitled House of Earth will consist of a series of suspended bowls that will create music fueled by the wind. Just out of reach, guests can use padded wooden rockers attached to cord to manipulate the bowls and produce their own music.

Owen Schwab: A light sculpture meant to establish reconnection between friends and strangers, the gathering space contains obstructed lines of sight and, at others, opportunities to look through and connect. As people move closer to the sculpture, it triggers light animations provoking people to investigate and interact further.

Billy Joe Miller x Fuego: The duo has developed this new work from patterns that will frame and activate the sky, urban landscape, and natural surroundings where it will live. With inspiration drawn from the repetition and designs in hot air balloons, this hanging installation entitled Vitrail II- which means stained glass window, will be filled in with the color of the sky above.

Michael Slavich: Floatie is a light-hearted exploration into basic shapes and architectural forms. The project consists of 12 inflatable sculptures, ranging in size, scale, and shape, using PVC vinyl and locally recycled inflatable pool toys. Colorful and lightweight, it is the perfect contrast to its surroundings.

Joseph Stacey: Take a journey with Hindsight, a lizard from the future that will give a glimpse into his travels through a portal. A projection installation called “the forgotten garden” will join Hindsight as a narrative piece that brings the desert world to the urban landscape. It’s a wild Land of Enchantment.

Early Bird General Admission and VIP tickets are on sale until Sunday, April 17 at 11.59 p.m. MST. General Admission tickets will go on sale immediately following for $45 plus fees. VIP passes, which include a commemorative lanyard, VIP lounge, private restrooms, and express entry, will be available starting at $85 plus fees. To purchase tickets, visit www.relentlessbeats.com. After teasing that a new festival was on the horizon, Atlanta festival producer Rival Entertainment and Athens, Georgia rock juggernaut Futurebirds have announced full details on Highball - a festival experience at the historic Pullman Yards, October 21 and 22, 2023. Curated by Futurebirds, the inaugural two-day festival experience will feature notable artist performances, locally renowned food purveyors, and a distinctive live experience alongside the railroad tracks of Pullman Yards. Handpicked by the indie rock mainstays, the lineup will feature headliners Band of Horses and The Head and the Heart, preceded by daily sets by Futurebirds. Additional support will include performances by Wednesday; a special reunion by The Whigs; Seratones; S.G. Goodman; T. Hardy Morris, and Hotel Fiction. "It's a wild wild dream to have the chance to help curate a festival bill, full of some of our favorite bands and best friends, in our home state, not far from where a handful of us grew up and experienced live music for the first time," says Futurebirds' guitarist and singer Carter King. "It's a full-circle experience, and we are extremely grateful for the opportunity. The lineup is insane; the venue is gorgeous. I can't wait to see y'all out there in October.”

Highball has partnered with Pabst Blue Ribbon, The Georgia Hemp Company, Código 1530 Tequila, and Bulleit Frontier Whiskey as the event's presenting sponsors, which are activating along with other local vendors across the Pullman Yards grounds. "We are thrilled to welcome Highball to Pullman Yards. We have anxiously anticipated this event and look forward to working with Rival Entertainment and Futurebirds on the first festival. Come experience two great days of live music on the Pullman Yards grounds," says Atomic Entertainment’s Maureen Meulen, owner and operator of the Pratt-Pullman Entertainment District.

"Creating a live show experience on this level has been a lifelong dream of mine! I have access to production and a team for this tour that's helping me elevate the vision to new heights, creating this dance sequence between the music, the lighting, the lasers, and the visuals. Sympleaf Sport, a holistic whole health CBD brand featuring products developed to complement an active lifestyle, is excited to announce that its CBD oil has received NSF Certified for Sport®. The designation verifies that Sympleaf Sport's 1500mg CBD oil does not contain unsafe levels of contaminants, prohibited substances, or masking agents and that what is on the label matches what is in the product. This also marks an exclusive partnership with the Atlanta Braves, making it the sole CBD oil, skin cream, or food product in the Braves’ portfolio and the team’s exclusive CBD partner for the next six seasons.

"Truly historic and surreal. Our path brought us to Braves Country in the early 90s; now, with The Battery Atlanta and the recent championship, the Braves brand has soared higher than ever," commented Sympleaf Wellness co-owner Ryan Dills. "Ever since Sid Bream rounded third and beat that throw home, we've been Braves diehards and are beyond excited to help bring education, access, and quality products of the hemp industry to the unlimited reach of Braves baseball."

Sympleaf Sport's focus on product development for athletes has propelled its expansion into the sports marketing arena, which includes a partnership with professional boxer Evan Holyfield, the minor-league Atlanta Gladiators hockey team, the Atlanta ATP tennis tournament, and the PGA Champions tournament at Sugarloaf. Additionally, these efforts further align with its support of nonprofit affiliations, such as the Kyle Pease Foundation, which empowers disabled athletes by creating platforms geared towards participation for all in sports.

"This is a dream come true for some hometown boys," said Joe Salome, co-owner of Sympleaf Wellness. "One of the main reasons I got into sports marketing early in my career was to get tickets and access to events. And now we are an early mover in the CBD / MLB space, which is incredibly exciting."

Sympleaf Sport is honored to be the exclusive CBD oil, skin cream, or food product sponsor of the Atlanta Braves and is committed to providing athletes and individuals with safe, effective, and high-quality CBD products. It looks forward to continuing its mission of promoting holistic health and wellness through high-quality CBD products.

"We are excited to partner with Sympleaf Sport, a trusted partner at the forefront of wellness innovation," said Jim Allen, Atlanta Braves Senior Vice President of Corporate and Premium Partnerships. “When Major League Baseball opened the CBD partnership category for clubs to explore, it was important to us to engage a Georgia-based company committed to holistic health for their customers."
