Jam Cruise revealed the 2016 artist lineup for the highly-revered music cruise to fans at JazzFest in New Orleans. The event’s stacked lineup includes Dr. John & The Nite Trippers, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Galactic, Lotus, JJ Grey & Mofro, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Lettuce, Snarky Puppy, New Mastersounds, and The Infamous Stringdusters, as well as over 25 additional bands and special guests, most of whom will be performing two shows each in one of seven venues throughout the ship. The complete list of confirmed artists is included below. This is the 14th sailing of Cloud 9 Adventure’s first music vacation at sea, with 12 of the past sailings holding sold-out titles.

Jam Cruise 14 sails from Miami aboard MSC’s luxury liner, the Sophia Loren-inspired MSC Divina, from January 6-11, 2016. The event itinerary includes port stops in Belize City, Belize and Cozumel, Mexico, where guests can go ashore to partake in excursions, beach lounging, sightseeing, and community outreach projects to give back to the local communities.

So much more than a music cruise, curated programs on Jam Cruise 14 make the experience truly unique - including Brews at Sea, Yoga at Sea, and the recently added culinary program, Chefs at Sea. In addition, Jam Cruise hosts an autograph signing, panel discussions, musical workshops, artist-led activities, and theme nights. Also available as an add-on program for fans who wish to pursue their own musical mastery, Music Masters Camp at Sea has all-day classes taught by renowned musicians Stanley Jordan, Vernon Reid, George Porter Jr., Johnny Vidacovich, and Daniel Lamb.

An integral part of the collaborative nature of Jam Cruise is presented in the Jam Room and the newly created Jazz Lounge, where musicians rotate on and off stage in improvisational jam session style. Each night in the Jam Room will feature a different Jam Host to lead the musical direction of the evening as musicians spontaneously rotate and collaborate in ways unimaginable. Another prime setting is the Atrium, where acoustic Piano Sets take place and often evolve into family sing-alongs on the baby grand in the glittering ambiance of the Divina. This inspiring collaborative atmosphere creates a powerful energy and the awareness that anything is possible on Jam Cruise.

In keeping with the charity division of Jam Cruise and the mission to integrate live music with service and positively impacting the local communities and environment, the charitable organization Positive Legacy will again be debuting the annual Day of Service during one of the port stops in either Belize City or Cozumel. Positive Legacy also raises funds via an onboard silent auction featuring art, signed photography and instruments. Further information regarding Day of Service details, donation drive, silent auction, and reducing the carbon footprint impact from traveling will all be made available online www.jamcruise.com.
