Beanstalk Music and Mountains Festival, located at the beautiful State Bridge Amphitheater in Bond, CO, has announced the initial 2015 lineup. Colorado favorites Kyle Hollingsworth Band featuring Michael Kang will headline the festival.

Also headlining the festival is super group Hollywood Nights (featuring members of The Disco Biscuits, Particle, JRAD, and American Babies) additional acts include The Magic Beans x3, The Main Squeeze, Juno What, Iron Horse, American Babies, Kitchen Dwellers, Brothers Gow, and Vine Street Vibes.

Beanstalk, hosted by Colorado jam act The Magic Beans, is entering it's 3rd year at State Bridge Ampitheater. The intimate venue located along the banks of the Colorado River offers a unique Rocky Mountain concert experience.

In the midst of their massive fall tour Dopapod and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong have announced a 2 night Colorado run in January. The bands' will share the stage at Denver's Ogden Theatre on January 27th and Boulder's Boulder Theater on January 28th. Both shows will feature full sets from both Pigeons and Dopapod, with a different band closing each night. Gipsy Moon and Kitchen Dwellers have announced a winter tour kicking off in January that will span the see the band's visiting a number of cities up and down the west coast. The tour will kick off in Bend, OR at The Domino Room on January 24th full tour dates are listed below. Each show will feature full sets from both bands and is sure to include collaborations between the groups.

Rising funk act Pigeons Playing Ping Pong has announced that their eighth annual music festival Domefest will return to Fort Royale Farm in Bedford, PA on May 18-20, 2017 for three nights of music and camping.

“We absolutely loved Fort Royale Farm and can’t wait to bring Domefest back there next year,” said Jeremy Schon, founder/executive producer of Domefest and lead guitarist of Pigeons Playing Ping Pong.

Baltimore, MD-based quartet Pigeons Playing Ping Pong have been tearing the East Coast music scene up with their electrified brand of psychedelic funk since 2009, bringing some serious heat to the masses every time they take the stage. Their undeniable energy and ability to stretch songs out into uncharted territories on a nightly basis, has made them one of the hottest acts to see in the jam scene today. Pigeons live performance is simply something that has to be witnessed in order to fully comprehend.

Consistently playing 150-200+ shows a year, the band's current run of upcoming dates marks the first time the funky foursome will take flight out to the West Coast. The group, made up of Scrambled Greg (vocals/guitars), Jeremy Schon (guitar/vocals), Ben Carrey (bass/vocals) and Alex Petropulos (drums/electronics) are geared up and looking to expand their ever-growing "Flock" nationwide.

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong have announced their complete Winter/Spring Tour Dates including an additional 17 tour dates covering the eastern half of the country. The second leg of Pigeons' 2017 touring plans will kick off with a 2-night headlining run at the Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY with support from Haley Jane and The Primates and Organ Freeman. The following weekend the band will head to Washington DC's 9:30 Club with support from ELM and Norfolk, VA with support from BIG Something. Before wrapping up the tour with Papadosio for 2 nights at Covington, KY's Madison Theatre the band of birds will spend a weekend in the Southeast and a weekend in New England with support from Aqueous, including a 4/20 show at Burlington, VT's Higher Ground.

Earlier this week Pigeons launched a Kickstarter campaign to help in funding a their latest studio effort, Pizazz, due for release in September 2017. The campaign offers a variety of exclusive rewards for fans who back the project.

Additionally, the band is set to release their first ever live album at the conclusion of the Kickstarter campaign on February 10th. The live album, The Great Outdoors Jam, features highlights from the band's headlining performances at The Great Outdoors Jam Festival in Mount Dora, FL in July 2016. Every contributor to the band's Pizazz Kickstarter campaign will receive a free digital download of The Great Outdoors Jam on February 10th if the project reaches its goal.

Today, festival organizers Pigeons Playing Ping Pong have announced the initial wave of bands set to play their eighth annual music festival Domefest on May 18-20, 2017 at Fort Royale Farm in Bedford, PA. High-energy psychedelic funk band and official hosts Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will play four sets throughout the weekend, alongside performances by Consider The Source, Aqueous (x2), Electric Love Machine (x2), Broccoli Samurai and many other jam scene favorites. This year’s event will be the second consecutive Domefest held in Bedford, PA.

Electro-funk act Pigeons Playing Ping Pong just released a single off their upcoming live album, “The Great Outdoors Jam.” Our first taste of the rising band’s first official live release is “Poseidon,” an uplifting oceanic odyssey featuring a smooth saxophone sit-in by Chris Sgammato of Displace.

We can’t wait to hear more live jams when the full album is released on Friday Feb. 17th. In the meantime, you can pre-order “The Great Outdoors Jam” via the band’s Kickstarter campaign to fund their new studio album, “Pizazz,” released this Fall before the campaign ends this Thursday Feb. 9th at 11:59PM EST.

A portion of their Kickstarter donations will go to Conscious Alliance, a nonprofit organization committed to supporting communities in crisis through hunger relief and youth empowerment.

The seven-track LP features a compilation of the band’s scorching jams from their two-night stand at The Great Outdoors Jam in Mount Dora, FL in July 2016. The live album includes all original songs except their rousing rendition of Ray Parker Jr.’s “Ghostbusters” theme song.

Montana based bluegrass act Kitchen Dwellers have announced the release of their second studio album titled Ghost In The Bottle due out April 21st. The band will set out on an extensive tour in support of the album including a number of festival dates and album release parties at Boulder's Fox Theatre on April 20th and Denver's Bluebird Theater on April 21st. Recorded between Nederland, Colorado's Mountain Star Studio and Desert Rose Studio in Durango, Colorado, Ghost In The Bottle is the band's first official release since their 2013 self titled debut. The album is produced by Leftover Salmon's Andy Thorne, Grammy Award winning sound engineer A.G. Lunsford mixed and mastered the album. The 11-track release features a variety of special guests including Twiddle's Mihali Savoulidis, Anders Beck of Greensky Bluegrass, Tim Carbone of Railroad Earth, and Bill Payne of Little Feat.

Kitchen Dweller's lead singer and banjo player Torrin Daniels expressed his excitement about the record, “The Dwellers have evolved quite a bit as a band since we were last in the studio. We wanted to put out an album that represents our current sound, Ghost In The Bottle definitely accomplishes that.” Mandolin player Shawn Swain added, “We had an amazing team throughout the process of recording Ghost, working with accomplished guys like Andy Thorne and A.G. Lunsford inspired the whole band take some serious strides in the studio. Our fans are going to really enjoy this one.”

Bozeman, MT-based bluegrass outfit Kitchen Dwellers are hitting the road beginning Thursday, February 21st at Des Moines, IA’s Vaudeville Mews, and embarking on an initial three week run that will take them from Minneapolis, Madison, Milwaukee, and Pittsburgh through the first leg.

Beginning on Thursday, March 1st at Morgantown, WV’s 123 Pleasant Street, Cincinnati’s Rumpke Mountain Boys will join forces with the Galaxygrass act for a run of co-headline dates that will take both acts from Louisville, Indianapolis, Kalamazoo, Chicago, the Dwellers’ hometown of Bozeman MT, and Teton Village, out to the PacNW in Seattle, Portland, Bend, and Eugene. 

The Kitchen Dwellers and Rumpke Mountain Boys will end their month-long jaunt in California with a special performance at Phil Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael before making their way to Humboldt Brews in Arcata and joining the Winter Wondergrass lineup in Squaw Valley. 

The Dwellers will finish their journey with a multi-night run in Colorado, which will see them headline Boulder’s Fox Theatre, BellyUp Aspen, and Hodi’s Half Note in Fort Collins for a proper 4/20 celebration.
