Iration announces the release of their latest single “IRL” available today, Friday, April 14, 2023 on digital platforms everywhere. Wrapped in warm island sentiments, the new song celebrates the value of being present – encouraging others to appreciate the bliss of now “in real life.” Listen HERE or watch the new lyric video HERE.

"IRL is a song about enjoying and experiencing natural beauty with the people you care about. The simple shared experiences are the ones that last the longest,” says Iration vocalist/guitarist Micah Pueschel.

The spring single follows the February 2023 release of “New Style” and will be featured on Iration’s forthcoming eighth studio album, planned for release later this year.

Touring in support of the new music, Iration will headline this year's Reggae Rise Up Festival in both Baltimore, Maryland (June 25) and Las Vegas (Oct 6).  The band will also join Rebelution on their Good Vibes Summer Tour 2023, visiting 35+ cities across 22 states starting June 1 in Austin, Texas. Stops include Atlanta, Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Detroit, Asheville, St. Augustine and Phoenix, plus many more cities along the way. Prior to the Good Vibes tour, the band will return to their SoCal roots to perform at BeachLife Festival (May 6) in Redondo Beach and California Roots Festival (May 25-28) in Monterey. Tickets for all dates are currently on sale at irationmusic.com.

Iration weaves a natural affinity for island sounds with a genre-bending appreciation for rock, pop, R&B and funk. Since the band’s formation more than 15 years ago, the celebrated group has racked up more than 1 billion total streams worldwide and established themselves as one of the most popular reggae-rock bands in the world, with their classic songs "Time Bomb" and "Falling" reaching RIAA certified gold status in 2020.

Touring nationally since 2008, Iration is known for their captivating live performances. They’ve performed at major music festivals like Outside Lands, Lollapalooza, Hangout Fest, Cali Vibes Fest, Bottlerock; as well as special performances for the San Francisco Giants, San Francisco 49ers, Kelly Slater, and Senator Bernie Sanders.

A record about being thankful for the moments that we have, Iration’s seventh studio album Coastin’ was released in June 2020 on Three Prong Records. The album embodies the band’s deeply rooted ‘Aloha’ spirit. Songs like the title track “Coastin’” and “Guava Lane” showcase how band members Micah Pueschel (lead vocals/guitar), Adam Taylor (bass), Joe Dickens (drums), Cayson Peterson (keyboards/synth) and Micah Brown (guitar/vocals) and Drake Peterson (trumpet) have perfected their distinct, hybrid style of music.

Recorded at Sound Design Studio in Santa Barbara, CA, the feel-good anthem paints the picture of care-free summer nights and living life in the moment with a laid back, easy groove.

Open up a cold one for the ride

Take another shot just to feel alive

We can keep it going til sunrise

The moon is so bright I don’t wanna say goodnight

Iration vocalist and guitarist Micah Pueschel shares of the new song, “We know our music goes well with warm weather and long days, and ‘Say Goodnight’ is the next chapter in our book of summer jams. We are stoked to have Little Stranger on a song, as they are one the most unique and original up-and-coming artists out there, and we look forward to playing the song live on tour.”
