To commemorate and celebrate the big relocation, Sister Sadie and aforementioned Bluegrass stalwarts The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys have teamed up on a little number that gets your boots stompin’ right out of the chute with some tasty banjo pickin’ before the first verse hits your ears, coming in sweeter than a tall glass of ice cold lemonade on a summer day. The track also cleverly highlights the move itself with lyrics that both pay homage to and eloquently tie together a few Bluegrass common threads (In this case Locomotives, Tony Rice and Southern Appalachia): “Jump that choo choo train through the cattle in the cane, we have found a home in Tennessee...”. This collaboration is a small (yet oh so delectable!) taste of what is to come at the festival this fall. Listen here. In an admirable showing of community support, all proceeds from the track will be donated to the IBMA’s Bluegrass Trust Fund, which was established to offer assistance to bluegrass musicians in times of need. Established in 1987, the IBMA Trust Fund has given more than $800,000 in direct aid. (https://ibma.org/bluegrass-trust-fund/ )
