For the past three years, the Denver based quintet  Whiskey Tango has been motivating Colorado crowds to move their feet with their high energy shows and high octane attitude. This Bluegrass band has grass roots, and they recently emerged from their basement studio with their debut album  Groggy Mountain Mornings. Capturing the rawness of the band, as well as their tenacious tone and attitude, this album reeks of wild west whiskey fueled thoughts and has a cornucopia of sounds that may surprise you. This band isn't just Bluegrass, it’s “foot stomping slamgrass.”Formed within Denver’s Jamband scene, Whiskey Tango embraces sounds from many genres and brings it all to a boil with mind blowing live improvisation. For 52 weeks straight, Whiskey Tango had a standing Tuesday night gig at Denver’s Jamband headquarters, Quixote's True Blue, and “Tango Tuesdays” became a fixture of the Denver scene. That year shaped Whiskey Tango into a band on a mission to get their music heard by a wider audience and eventually led the band to trim their line-up down to five core members. While they are the first to admit there is no way a studio recording can capture the energy of their explosive live show, Groggy Mountain Mornings showcases the bands diversity. The album features elements of Bluegrass, Country, Rock, Funk, Reggae and Psychedelia-woven together into one seamless collection of songs. Unanimous love for The Grateful Dead just may well be the unifying thread that holds the Whiskey Tango tapestry together and their love of “Space” left no space unfilled, as would-be silence between songs is filled with transitional thoughts and sounds. All lovers of traditional Bluegrass as much The Grateful Dead, this band will satisfy hippies, hillbillies, traditionalists and listeners with a thirst for something new.

Park House and Listen Up Denver! are teaming up to present SoulFax Sessions every Thursday Night at Park House. Park House is a restaurant and bar that opened a few months ago in the old PS 1515 Catering House at the corner of Colfax and Madison, and the music loving owners have remodeled the place beautifully. Given the size (capacity 242), the warm environment, and the eager team in charge, this event has the potential to become a weekly fixture on every Denver music lovers calendar.

SoulFax Sessions brings together a staggering group of talented musicians from some of the most danceable, fun, and up-and-coming bands Denver’s vibrant music scene has to offer. Each week will feature a diverse line-up of 3-5 musicians culled from a roster over over 30 local musicians who currently are involved in the project. The vision is to have the Park House bumping every Thursday night as these great musical minds bringing live music and dancing to a section of Colfax that recently lost Rock Bar. All these musicians will be approaching the night with Funk and Soul in mind as they aim to get people’s feet moving on the dance floor.

At the time of this release, SoulFax Sessions will feature members of: Great American Taxi, Leftover Salmon, The Congress, Fox Street All-Stars, YAMN, Kinetix, ATOMGA and The Whales, with appearances and sit-ins by many others. As the hair bands of the 80's receded into the mist of Seattle’s Grunge scene, Hip-Hop, dancing divas and boy bands hit the mainstream.  No matter your flavor, the music of the 90's offered a little something for everyone and now it’s time to relive it all!Two years ago J2G Live decided that the music of the 90′s needed to be celebrated, and “Foolin’ Around in the 90′s” was born. The first event was such a success that they decided to do it again the following year. Listen Up Denver! jumped on board to help spread the word, and “Revenge of the 90’s” brought 1,000 people to Stoney’s Bar and Grill. This year “Revenge of the 90’s” is moving across town to Cervantes’ and the party is going to be bigger and better than ever.  “Revenge of the 90′s III” will feature over 40 musicians from more than a dozen local bands, and they will be covering all types of music from the decade.Since there are 10 years and countless genres to choose from, “Revenge of The 90′s III” won’t be just a repeat of a great party, but an entirely new experience with a brand new soundtrack. The great thing about these songs is their ability to evoke emotion. They will make you think of your senior prom, the best spring break you ever had, the first person who broke your heart, or the best day you ever had ditching school. The 90′s don't seem all that long ago, but some of the songs have had over 20 years to root themselves in our collective consciousness.Having both sides of Cervantes' to work with this year has turned this event into an extravaganza. The Whales will be kicking the night off with a 90’s Unplugged set on The Other Side and Mikey Thunder will be dropping special VJ sets in the Ballroom. The main event will feature members of Kyle Hollingsworth Band, The Motet, Rose Hill Drive, YAMN, Fox Street Allstars, The MTHDS, Kinetix, Octopus Nebula, The Whales, Tiger Party, Ableminds, Mountain Standard Time, Broken Tongues, Filthy Children, DJ Russo, Robbie Peoples, and many more...Revenge Of The 90's is proud to be working with Flobots.Org, and a silent auction will be held during the event.  Drink Specials presented by Elevate Vodka from Mile High Spirits.REVENGE OF THE 90′s IIISaturday, March 30thCervantes’ Ballroom & The Other SideTickets On Sale Now: $15 Adv / $20 DoSPURCHASE TICKETS HERE
