React Presents is thrilled to announce Spring Awakening Music Festival 2013 at Chicago's historic Soldier Field! The second year's headliners include California low-end maetsro, BASSNECTAR and Grammy award winning producer CALVIN HARRIS! As previously announced, Spring Awakening Music Festival has expanded to three days, June 14, 15, and 16.Spring Awakening Music Festival has expanded to three days, adding another stage (totaling two stages and two tents) for over 100 world renown artists and over 75,000 attendees! The main stage will once again occupy the North endzone of Soldier Field, giving concert goers the rare opportunity to witness some of the world's biggest artists and dance where the Chicago Bears play football! A tent will host more artists next to the historic Lake Shore Drive, and another next to the Colonnades on the east side of the stadium. STS9 – Without a doubt one of the most dynamic and original live music projects of the past decade, Sound Tribe made a lasting imprint on the jam-electronica scene that will not soon be forgotten. Check out this compilation video of STS9’s two night run, last year, at the Congress Theater. By fusing styles of dance music with funk, hip-hop, jazz and others into a one of a kind instrumental cocktail that delight fans of all sorts across the globe – Tribe is one band that is here to stay.  STS9 are one of the few bands that can truly excel in both the live and studio atmospheres. With records like their classic 2005 LP, Artifact – which was a well crafted, electronically produced album filled with intricate samples and compendious composition. Yet, the band is still very much a live, improvisational group and works unique live versions of their studio tracks into their live performances.
 
STS9 truly does it all; from headlining stages at festivals such as the Ultra Music Festival, Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, Lollapalooza and Electric Daisy Carnival, to selling out shows around the country as an acoustic set-up in opera houses or as an electronic act in amphitheatres. They have performed with Jay-Z in arenas, run their own record label, 1320 Records and even use their voice as a platform for change and raising significant amounts of money towards activism efforts (including $150,000 to The Make it Right Foundation, paving the way to rebuild a house in the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans). Pushing boundaries is all in a day’s work for STS9.

Saturday, October 12th, React & Live Nation Present Chicago's own KASKADE at the historic Navy Pier Exhibition Hall! Dillon's effortlessly meticulous take on Moombahton coupled with an unparalleled sense of humor (his DJ awareness video has led many down the road to Taco Bell) has pushed him to the forefront of the electronic music world, both critically and popularly. His was named one of MTV Clubland's "Artists to Watch in 2013.” His most recent release is "Without You," featuring the one and only Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. Check out the rest of his tunes here.Anamanaguchi is a boy band made up of hackers and producers born & raised on the Internet, currently living in New York City. Anamanaguchi started in Pete Berkman’s basement in the suburbs of New York where Weezer, snacks and Super Nintendo lived in equal rotation. At 15, he began experimenting with creating punk music using an 8-bit NES. Following bass player James DeVito to NYU’s Music Technology program, Pete met Ary Warnaar who grew up in LA on raves, fashion and lazer tag. Ary began writing for the band, lending a more academic electronic-influence to Berkman’s capricious pop sensibilities. Later that year Luke joined as the band’s drummer via a MySpace message and then the band had fully formed. Since their inception in 2009, Zeds Dead have proved themselves to be one of the most versatile groups around, continually pushing the boundaries of electronic music, including working with acclaimed Black Swan choreographer Benjamin Millepied for their "Demons" Video, touring with Odd Future's Tyler the Creator and Earl Sweatshirt, headlining multiple dates on this year's Mad Decent Block Party, and rocking uncompromising main stage sets at countless festivals around the world, including Spring Awakening, Lollapalooza Chile and Brazil, I Love Techno Belgium and France, and Future Music Festival in Australia.Born in Nantes 18 years ago, Hugo Leclercq aka Madeon was introduced to electronic music aged 11, when he came upon a documentary about Daft Punk. A year later, he began learning how to make music. He posted some of his tracks online, but declined label requests to release them and other artist’s offers of remix work. Instead, he entered an online remix competition for drum’n’bass band Pendulum. His repositioning of their ‘The Island’ as tough, sparkling house won whilst his remixes on the Yelle “Que Veux Tu” and Deadmau5 “Raise Your Weapon” singles further raised his profile with support from of Annie Mac, Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello, Pete Tong, Deadmau5, Alan Braxe, Chase & Status, Skrillex, Knife Party, Porter Robinson, Zedd, Diplo, Martin Solveig, etc.Seemingly out of nowhere, RL Grime has risen the ranks to the forefront of what is undoubtedly the future of electronic music. His debut EP Grapes, which included remixes from Shlohmo, Salva, and LOL Boys was released in April 2012, and within a month he had the world begging for more. RL followed with the international club anthem “Trap On Acid”, and immediately garnered the support of Diplo, A-Trak, Flosstradamus, 12th Planet, to name a few. Since then, he has released yet another global shaker: his bootleg “Mercy” remix collaboration with LA based producer Salva. The track had 120,000 spins on Soundcloud in 2 days. RL Grime is reshaping electronic production. His melodically infused, Houston influenced flavor is connecting the roots of southern hip hop with the new age of electronic dance music and in turn dictating our understanding of what it means to be a 21st century producer.

Chicago Bluegrass & Blues Festival (CBB) is ready to celebrate its 5th birthday! The wintertime roots fest returns with 17 shows format spanning three weeks in January and February!CBB V is anchored in eight shows over three weeks at the newly-minted Concord Music Hall, the West Loop’s City Winery, and Evanston’s SPACE.  Rusted Root and Justin Townes Earle make their first CBB appearance, while David Grisman returns for his 3rd, this time with two nights as the David Grisman JazzFolk Trio.  The fest kicks off January 10th with Leagues and The Autumn Defense (feat. In 2013, Zeds Dead have an enormous catalogue that includes remixes for some of the biggest artists out there, and releases with the most credible labels in the game. They've accumulated hundreds of millions of views online. They play tours of over 70 dates to hundreds of thousands of people. Fans love their shows, critics love their creativity, and heads love their production. They’re big. Really big.

After a strong string of EPs, singles and mixtapes, Zeds Dead released their Somewhere Else EP July 1st,2014 on Mad Decent. Having already established themselves as one of the most versatile and ambitious acts around, DC and Hooks broke new sonic territory with eight tracks that that cover a wide spectrum of electronic music. Joining the Toronto duo on the record isTwin Shadow for the house anthem "Lost You" which features vocals from D'Angelo Lacy. "Tove Lo has an amazing voice.. Her melody and lyrics on "Heroes" were a cool starting point for me on the remix. I set out to maintain the massiveness of Alesso's original but used filtered analog synth chords and off-kilter rap drums to color a different emotion. In 2015 and moving forward, only those who are 18 years and older will be permitted into Spring Awakening Music Festival. Our number one priority is the safety of our fans, the artists, and staff. It is with this in mind that Spring Awakening Music Festival introduces SAMF Safe & Sound. In 2014, the festival launched Safe & Sound on the festival grounds, encouraging fans to take care of one another by contacting security or staff members if they saw someone in need, and introducing the SAMF Wellness Team, a dedicated group of peers available on site with water, answers to any questions, and a direct line to security. Banners were and will be placed around the festival grounds with contact information for fans to text security with any potential needs they may have. In 2015, SAMF Safe & Sound will continue to grow to ensure the safety of everyone in attendance. 

SAMF truly appreciates the support from our younger fans, but we believe the festival is an experience for adults. This difficult decision was made to promote safety amongst our fans and ensure the best experience for our attendees and future attendees. We encourage everyone to attend the festival when they reach the appropriate age.

The 2015 Chicago Bluegrass & Blues fest is back with more bands, more nights, and more venues, expanding to six venues and 22 shows throughout January and February.

CBB is anchored in back-to-back three-night runs by The String Cheese Incident and Steve Earle, both making their first CBB appearances. In 2015, SAMF continues it's expansion with a new fourth stage added under the historic colonnades on the east side of Soldier Field. There will be over 75 national and internationally touring artists spanning all genres of dance music. Trance legend PAUL VAN DYK headlines the Trance Arena, with dubstep producer ZOMBOY taking over the Bass Kitchen stage, and Hot Creations Records own JAMIE JONES headlining the Beatport Stage. 

Chicago artists are well represented once again, paying homage to the city that gave birth to house music. Cajmere and Derrick Carter return, with trap pioneers Flosstradamus, who recently sold out two Chicago shows in December 2014. SAMF continues to support regional talent and will be announcing rising producers in the coming weeks. In 2014, local production duo Dionysus won the DJ contest, and later went on to be featured in the Chicago Tribune.

React Presents is thrilled to announce JACK Ü (Skrillex and Diplo) as the surprise headliner at this year's Spring Awakening Music Festival. This collaborative DJ set marks the first time Skrillex and Diplo perform as JACK Ü in the Midwest!

Skrillex and Diplo's collaborative project has been filled with surprises, as two of the biggest stars in the dance music world surprise-dropped their debut album last week during a 24-hour marathon party in LA. Dubbed Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü, the slbum features appearances by Missy Elliott, 2 Chains, AlunaGeorge, Justin Bieber, and more. The fourth annual Summer Set Music and Camping Festival (SSMF) returns to the beautiful Somerset Amphitheater in Northern Wisconsin with the festival’s most impressive lineup yet. Known for showcasing an eclectic mix of hip-hop, indie, and jam-style artists alongside some of electronic dance music’s most sought after producers and DJs, SSMF is set to deliver a diverse lineup featuring over 70 artists, performing across five stages.

This year's headliners include dance music phenomenon DEADMAU5, which marks his only announced Midwest festival appearance, mysterious R&B mega-sensation THE WEEKND, and bass music innovator BASSNECTAR, who returns after an unforgettable set in 2014. Summer Set mainstays BIG GIGANTIC will also return for their fourth year with a very special jam session. Featuring a wide variety of performers across multiple genres, other artists include Action Bronson, Rae Sremmurd, Die Antwoord, and Earl Sweatshirt to Thievery Corporation, Lotus, Odesza, Tune Yards, Shiba San, Carnage, Tchami, and more to round out the bill.

As Summer Set continues to grow, the festival grounds will once again expand to provide music enthusiasts with the ultimate experience and atmosphere. The new stage, dubbed A Live One, will feature critically acclaimed bands with live performances from Purity Ring, Tycho, Tanlines, Lettuce, Railroad Earth, and many more.

2015 marks a special year for Summer Set’s hip-hop fans as Wu Tang’s Ghostface Killah hits the stage with Toronto jazz trio BADBADNOTGOOD for one of their notorious live performances. Additionally, in celebration of the 20-year anniversary since the release of their renowned second album, which includes the Grammy Award-Winning Song "Tha Crossroads,” Bone Thugs-N-Harmony will be performing their full-length album E. 1999 Eternal in full.

To accompany the eclectic lineup, Summer Set provides festival-goers with affordable VIP camping packages that offers unrivaled amenities and perks, including private restrooms and showers, full assistance from dedicated VIP staff members, access to all after parties, and private viewing areas at the Main Stage and Grove Stage, plus much more. Attendees will be provided with preferred on-site parking and advanced entry to “The Woods” VIP campgrounds, beginning on Thursday August 14th at 4:00 pm, ahead of the General Admission ticket holders.  Free professional massages, and an additional mini-stage featuring intimate DJ sets exclusive to VIP campers, will also join the VIP amenities in 2015.

For the 6th annual year, NCMF brings together a more diverse range of genres than ever before, and continues the tradition of pushing emerging artists to the forefront while appealing it’s broad musical scope to an equally diverse crowd.  Returning headliners THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS are back this year after closing the inaugural NCMF in 2010. Additional 2015 headliners include R&B star D'ANGELO AND THE VANGUARD, who is riding high off the release of his first album in fourteen years, plus a very special SURPRISE ROCK HEADLINER that will be announced on Tuesday, May 12th.

The eclectic lineup features a wide range of artists including The Roots, Wale, Tycho, Atmosphere, Porter Robinson (Live), The Glitch Mob, Chromeo, Portugal. The Man, Booka Shade, RAC, Nahko & Medicine for the People, supergroup Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Shpongle (Simon Posford DJ Set), and an exciting performance from New Orleans' premiere funk band Galactic joined by Macy Gray, plus many more.

The Disco Biscuits, Steve Aoki, Knife Party, Dirty Dozen Brass Band are among the artists who return to play the festival, along with Gramatik’s Lowtemp labelmates Exmag, who made their debut performance during NCMF 2013.  Local favorites returning this year include Chicago house legend Green Velvet, Future Rock, who will be performing for the sixth year in a row, Chicago's resident DJ Zebo, along with up-and-coming acts like electronic jam producer Manic Focus, jazz and soul singer Lili K, rising alternative rapper Skizzy Mars, and blues-infused funk bands like The Heard, The O’My's, and The Main Squeeze.

This year NCMF will be bringing back the popular Silent Disco, as well as the “Living Gallery” presented by Elder Tree graffiti area.  The music doesn't stop when the festival hours end, as North Coast hosts a variety of after parties around Chicago at some of the city's finest venues.  After parties will be announced as the festival approaches, and tickets holders will have the opportunity to purchase advance tickets before the general public.

This summer React Presents is ecstatic to announce Mamby on the Beach, Chicago’s newest two-day festival, taking place at a new and untouched lakefront venue on Oakwood Beach. This beautiful beachside festival offers a pristine view of Chicago's gorgeous skyline, boasting two stages featuring live performances by established and legendary artists in the indie-dance world, plus a selection of the world’s most innovative house and techno producers.

Headliners include modern trailblazers EMPIRE OF THE SUN and PASSION PIT, who are coming off the highly-anticipated release of their third album, Kindred. Additional support from bands and live acts like the legendary Röyksopp, indie-electro tastemakers Phantogram, as well as Robert DeLong, Com Truise, Tanlines, and No Regular Play, showcase a wide spectrum of artists who incorporate live instrumentation into their performances and continue to bridge the gap between genre boundaries. Staying true to Chicago’s heritage as the birthplace of house music, Mamby stacked the lineup with genre-pushing producers including Art Department, who will be making their last Midwest appearance as a duo before their recently announced hiatus, along with Claptone, Matthew Dear, Cashmere Cat, Route 94, and George Fitzgerald. Mamby also features a slew of artists who will be returning to their Midwest roots, including Chicago house legends Felix Da Housecat and Farley "Jackmaster" Funk, Dirtybird's leading lady J Phlip, disco-house producer Moon Boots, and the Chicago-based live trio Autograf.

The inaugural event is slated for Saturday, July 11th, and Sunday, July 12th, from 1 PM – 10 PM, and is 18+.  Additionally, React Presents will provide numerous travel options for the festival with accommodations for premium parking, free shuttles from designated pickup areas, and a bike valet via the bike path which runs directly to Oakwood Beach. Free shuttle services will be available for all attendees from the CTA Cermak-China Town Red Line and Cermak-McCormick Place Green Line, and the McCormick Place marshaling lot, running from noon until 11pm each day. The location is also accessible by Taxi, Uber, and Lyft drivers to assure festival goers that their easy and safe commute is a top priority. On top of their late night performance, alternative quintet also recently released a brand new official video featuring a Walking Dead cast member. “Set in a barren desert setting, the clip matches the tune’s mainstage-sized hook and chugging bassline with The Walking Dead’s own Josh McDermitt (Eugene!) behind the wheel during a highspeed car chase.” Describes Entertainment Weekly, “We don’t know what originally went sour between all the players involved, but its murderous end leaves little up for interpretation.” Paste Magazine also described “Troublemaker” as “a raunchy mix of electronic synth and guitar,” and SPIN named them one of “Five Can’t Miss Emerging Artists at Voodoo Fest.”

“When we all met in a studio in Santa Monica in 2013, little did we know that we would be writing our debut full length album Waking Up the Giants,” said Grizfolk. ”Looking back and listening to the album now that it's completed, it truly is a journal of memories and emotions that we've gathered these past 2 years. Grizfolk are about to become your favorite new band. You might have seen them supporting X Ambassadors, Haim, or Bastille, and they made their television debut earlier this year on the Late Show with David Letterman. In 2014, Grizfolk blasted on to the scene with their debut EP, From the Spark. Amassing a stack of music since we last heard from them in 2010, the LA transplants christen their comeback with the release of a second EP of premium cuts.  Friend Inside features a triple dose of infectious and radiant electronic pop that dances across the spectrum, from positive to chilling to downright ecstatic. Starting with the slick purple-tinged funk of the title track, through to the swinging and looping cathartic release of Footprints, concluding with the joyous disco house of Silverwood. Friend Inside is another unashamedly sunny clutch of pointed post-pop, equally adept at rinsing the club as it is jamming out of the SUV.

Friend Inside follows on from the Waterfalls EP that was released earlier this year to great acclaim with all three of the tracks (Waterfalls, Vapour Trails, and Wonderland) landing in the TOP 10 on Hype Machine’s Popular Chart and marked the comeback of Bag Raiders, who originally broke in 2010 with their certified GOLD self-titled debut album, an ARIA-nominated affair that included mega-hit “Shooting Stars”, “Way Back Home” and “Sunlight”. 

Bag Raiders also broke ground this summer selling out their live show debut in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York. The live show eschews the tides of current trends and exists in a world firmly of its own making. Having always opted for instruments over computers, the show doesn’t abandon the dancefloor, but rather applies the Bag Raiders’ production nous and musical chops to a much broader sound palette featuring live guitar, bass, keys, drums, and vocals.

The band intend to keep the taps running with one more EP early this year, culminating in a second full length record set for Summer 2016.

In addition to the artist lineup, a new venue has been announced for the 2016 installment. In February, Spring Awakening was given conditional approval to announce its move to Jackson Park; but after the announcement, scheduling conflicts arose with another event in the community, and both events were unable to coexist on the same weekend. Consequently, Spring Awakening will now be held at Addams/Medill Park, located in University Village / Little Italy.

The new venue will provide Spring Awakening fans with easy public transportation options from around the city. Addams/Medill Park is only within a short walk of the CTA Pink Line trains at the 18th Street and Polk Street stops, as well as the Blue Line trains at the Racine stop. From hip hop and jam bands to funk and electronic dance music, this year’s festival will provide something special and enticing for every type of Coastie around the clock. UMPHREY’S MCGEE are set to make their long awaited homecoming, as the band plays their first Chicago show in over two years after headlining the inaugural festival in 2009 and then again in 2012. Live brotherly duo THE FLOOZIES will perform alongside indie dance duo MATT & KIM, trap extraordinaires BAAUER and BRILLZ, house legend SAM FELDT and electronic powerhouse THE POLISH AMBASSADOR, also come as welcome additions to the already powerful September lineup.

Jam band heavyweights TAUK and TWIDDLE also join the final roster, along with deep house/ indie-dance duo HOTEL GARUDA, Dirtybird's JUSTIN JAY, Australian duo HERMITUDE, slow tempo producer LOUIS FUTON, Jamaican musician and reggae artist JESSE ROYAL, singer-songwriter ALLAN RAYMAN, Boston rapper MICHAEL CHRISTMAS, and JAMILA WOODS, a Chicago-based singer and poet whose appearance on Donnie Trumpet and the Social Experiment's infectious single "Sunday Candy" brought her voice to national prominence.

A$AP FERG, fresh off of his widely acclaimed album Always Strive and Prosper, will follow suit, while New York trio FLATBUSH ZOMBIES and Freshman XXL 2016 honoree LIL DICKY both make their coveted return to Chicago after each of their massive sold out shows at Concord Music Hall.

On the electronic side of the spectrum, bass music champion and Shark Squad captain JAUZ, long-heralded female DJ duo NERVO, funk-mastermind GRAMATIK, Montreal's own dubstep hero SNAILS, acid house legend BOYS NOIZE, and more all contribute to the weekend’s spooky soundtrack.

Throughout the weekend, the Crypt Stage will transform each night to highlight a diverse scope of dance music's most noteworthy contributors. On Friday, October 28, dubstep veteran and original Evol Intent member BRO SAFARI taking the lead with the best that bass music has to offer. Bass lovers are sure to find refuge when fellow dubstep creators FIGURE, CRIZZLY and ILLENNIUM join the renowned trap stylings of duo LOUDPVCK and 4B.

On Saturday, October 29, fans will discover an unforgettable blend of live electronic music on this dynamic stage, with 3D animation and live lighting from the DUBFIRE HYBRID:LIVE showcase. Alongside him, an all-inclusive blend of deep house, hip hop and techno will be represented by the likes of CLAPTONE, MK, BRODINSKI and KILL FRENZY.

Closing out the Cyrpt Stage on Sunday, October 30 is house music pioneer JAMIE JONES. Known for his ground-breaking Hot Creations label and global event series, Paradise, Jamie will play alongside his cross genre Hot Natured bandmate and native Chicagoan, LEE FOSS. Fellow house and techno cornerstones GUY GERBER, ARDALAN and GENE FARRIS will support the takeover to provide underground aficionados with their very own sanctuary for the day.

Headlining the Mixmag Tent is historic techno trailblazer GREEN VELVET celebrating the 25 year anniversary of his Chicago-founded label Relief Records, best known for releasing legendary tracks such as the Percolator (1992) and Flash (1995). In honor of the celebration, Green Velvet helped curate the lineup with support from JUSTIN MARTIN, MK, LEE FOSS, fellow Relief recording artist LATMUN and more. Spring Awakening Music Festival (SAMF) is thrilled to release the full 2017 lineup, including artists playing on each of the six Branded Stages, the day-by-day breakdown and a limited supply of single day tickets! Over 80 artists will perform across five unique stages, demonstrating a dynamic variety of genres within the electronic music spectrum.

In addition to Phase 1 and Phase 2 artists performing on SAMF's two Main Stages, the three-day festival will also feature two Branded Stage takeovers each day. On Friday, June 9, the first two Branded Stages will be hosted by acclaimed music publication Dancing Astronaut and React’s simmering house event series, Body Language. Headlining Dancing Astronaut’s takeover will be one of dance music’s most celebrated artists Benny Benassi. Alongside him, Sander van Doorn, Bingo Players, Audien and Party Favor are all set to unleash from the stage. Meanwhile, fans of the Body Language series will get down to a diverse assortment of artists with a headlining performance by Thomas Jack, the saxophone-playing champion of tropical house, along with Route 94, Felix Da Housecat, Billy Kenny and Gene Farris.

Saturday, June 10 will see SAMF’s Branded Stages transformed by Above & Beyond’s smooth and sultry deep house imprint Anjunadeep and the return of React’s veteran Trance Arena series, featuring its own euphoric atmosphere. The Anjunadeep stage will feature a headlining guest spot by RÜFÜS DU SOL, one of the hottest indie dance groups out of Australia. Joining RÜFÜS will be Anjunadeep labelmates Lane 8, Moon Boots, Jody Wisternoff and Yotto. Leading the Trance Arena stage will be legendary Grammy Award-Winning DJ, producer and musician, Paul van Dyk. Alongside him, Paul Oakenfold, Andrew Rayel and MaRLo will mesmerize fans with nonstop melodic thrills throughout the day. The Trance Arena will also be graced by a very special guest appearance, which will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Topping off the weekend on Sunday, June 11 will be hosted takeovers from React’s longstanding Bass Kitchen series, known for its unmistakably brutal bass carnage, and Sunday School, a longstanding series known for its “festival within a festival” atmosphere. Headlining the Bass Kitchen’s takeover will be an undisputed member of the Mount Rushmore of modern dubstep, Snails, backed by a staggering roster of additional talent including Kill The Noise, Hucci, Spag Heddy and Barely Alive. Over on the Sunday School stage, the action will be headlined by famed North London duo Gorgon City, as they return to Chicago for a raucous set for all to enjoy. Rounding out the stage’s roster will be Eats Everything, Victor Calderone, Steve Bug, and J. Phlip.

This year FREAKY DEAKY returns as a multi-city takeover across the Midwest! Featuring over 20 artists throughout four cities, everyone’s favorite Halloween party will host multiple events in MILWAUKEE, CHICAGO, GRAND RAPIDS and ANN ARBOR. React Presents is thrilled to expand the longstanding party series and bring the fun to fans across the Midwest.

In Milwaukee, the Wisconsin Center, a massive convention and exhibition hall located in the heart of downtown, will host two monstrous shows during the Halloween weekend. Kicking off the first night on Friday, October 27th, champion of the live electronic landscape GRIZ will headline, with supporting performances by FLATBUSH ZOMBIES and BOOGIE T. Headlining the second night on Saturday, October 28th, is renowned experimentalist BASSNECTAR, with support by fellow electronic and hip-hop infused acts including MIJA, BLEEP BLOOP and Milwaukee’s own ARTIFAKTS. For those traveling from Chicago, the Wisconsin Center is only three blocks away from the Amtrak station, with 9 trains running daily to/from the city.

In Chicago, Freaky Deaky returns to city limits with four shows at Concord Music Hall and the Aragon Ballroom.

Concord Music Hall will host experimental electronic producer KAYZO on Thursday, October 26th, as well as a supporting acts from his DOGHOUSE records imprint, which will be announced at a later date. Additionally, UK house duo GORGON CITY will headline as part of their Kingdom DJ Tour on Friday, October 27th, along with support by Hot Creations’ label boss LEE FOSS and KIDNAP KID.

Over at the legendary Aragon Ballroom, OLIVER HELDENS will throw down his futuristic funky beats along with the live French house producer KLINGANDE on Friday, October 27th. To round out Chicago’s Freaky Deaky weekend, everyone’s favorite DJ/comedian, DILLON FRANCIS will make his long-awaited return to the Windy City on Saturday, October 28th, along with Australia’s boundary-pushing producer WHAT SO NOT.

Spanning across two cities in Michigan, Freaky Deaky will take over The Intersection in Grand Rapids and Necto in Ann Arbor. Located in Downtown Grand Rapids, The Intersection will host UK producer ZOMBOY, known for his interjection of uplifting melodies with grimy dubstep synths on Friday, October 27th. Stream part one of Zomboy's recent Rott N' Roll EP HERE. Taking over Ann Arbor’s Necto Nightclub on Halloween proper, is the captivating electronic trio, CASH CASH. Silver Wrapper, React Presents, and October are thrilled to announce the return of the Chicago Bluegrass & Blues (CBB) series, welcoming some of the finest talents in Bluegrass and Blues, and the genres they inspire, including Curtis Harding, Colter Wall, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, Matador! Soul Sounds, Mary Lane & The No Static Blues Band with Michael Alkaraki, and more. 

The 5-day event series runs March 21st through March 25th at some of Chicago’s most popular music venues including Lincoln Hall, Chop Shop, Fitzgerald’s, and Martyrs’. Tickets are on sale now at www.cbbfestival.com.

Starting Wednesday, March 21st, Mary Lane & The No Static Blues Brand join with Michael Alkaraki at Fitzgerald’s to kick off the series. A longtime favorite of Chicago’s West Side blues scene, singer Mary Lane honed her skills in local juke joints alongside the company of Howlin’ Wolf, Robert Nighthawk, Little Junior Parker, and James Cotton, before relocating to Chicago in 1957. She took a four decade hiatus from recording before resurfacing in the early 1990s, leading to her full-length album Appointment With The Blues in 1997. Supporting are fellow local Blues and Bluegrass staples The Shams Band, Majors Function, and The Frizz. Tickets are available HERE.

On Thursday, March 22nd, the series moves to Martyr’s with Matador! Soul Sounds, supported by Jennifer Hartswick and Nick Cassarino Duo. Combining diverse inspirations and a shared passion for jazz, funk, and soul, Matador! Soul Sounds is a newer outfit that brings an ensemble energy to their performances. They debuted this year at The Brooklyn Bowl for Live for Live Music’s Brooklyn Comes Alive 2017 and their debut EP “Get Ready” is coming in 2018. Tickets are available HERE.

Curtis Harding takes Lincoln Hall on Friday, March 23rd. The child of a mother who sang gospel and a retired veteran, Curtis Harding has lived his entire life knowing music as the great communicator. He taps into the best parts of soul music, singing with earnesty that transcends the years and reflects upon modern realities. A penchant for what i-D calls “otherworldly, synth-driven soul” casts Harding as one of the most essential soul musicians of our time, and his new album Face Your Fear garnered mass acclaim, including a spot on NPR’s Top 10 Albums of 2017. Saturday March, 24th takes the series to Chop Shop with Wisconsin bluegrass outfit Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, supported by Head For The Hills. Bound by a love for bluegrass and old-time Americana and folk music, Head For The Hills founded in 2010 and quickly turned heads around the country, placing 3rd in Telluride Bluegrass Festival’s Band Competition in 2012, before going on to share stages with the likes of Trampled By Turtles, Railroad Earth, Merle Haggard, Yonder Mountain String Band, and countless others. The series concludes on Sunday March 25th at Lincoln Hall with Canadian singer-songwriter phenom Colter Wall. At the age of just 22, Colter has wasted no time in establishing himself as one of the hottest names at the intersection of blues, folk, and Americana. His track “Sleeping On The Blacktop” found streaming success after being featured in the films Hell or High Water and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. SPRING AWAKENING MUSIC FESTIVAL (SAMF) is thrilled to announce a massive Phase One lineup for its seventh annual installment, taking place Friday, June 8th through Sunday, June 10th. In 2018, the largest all-electronic music festival in the Midwest will return to the beautiful Addams/Medill Park in Chicago.

Spring Awakening's two main stages - Solstice and Equinox - will once again showcase the event’s biggest names and productions. Headliners on the Solstice Stage are sure to please fans with performances by AFROJACK, BORGORE, CARNAGE, DASH BERLIN, DIMITRI VEGAS & LIKE MIKE, HARDWELL, KASKADE, STEVE AOKI, and TIËSTO.

Meanwhile, on the Equinox Stage, ALISON WONDERLAND, BIG GIGANTIC, DEADMAU5, FLUX PAVILION, NGHTMRE, TCHAMI, SLUSHII, VIRTUAL SELF (Porter Robinson’s new alias that blends house, happy hardcore, garage and techno), and ZEDS DEAD round out the bill by featuring a variety of genres within the realm of dance music. Additional artists providing high-intensity energy on the Equinox Stage include BAAUER, BLACK TIGER SEX MACHINE, JOYRYDE, MATOMA, MINNESOTA, while 3LAU, GETTER, SAM FELDT, SEVEN LIONS, SLANDER, and TRITONAL takeover the Solstice Stage.

To accompany the first phase of artists from around the world, Spring Awakening also reveals the identity of this year's six Branded Stage showcases. React’s coveted event series will return with another round of specially curated stages for fans to explore. Whether you’re searching for soaring thrills and infectious rhythms of the TRANCE ARENA, the BASS KITCHEN’s perfect combination of grit and grime, or minimal beats by REQUIEM, the newest techno series, there’s a stage for everyone to call home.

Additionally, SAMF will host stage takeovers from three diverse brands within the dance music community. Attendees will experience uniquely tailored lineups from SUNDAY SCHOOL, featuring both big-name and underground champions currently dominating the scene, Oliver Helden’s HELDEEP Records imprint, and the acclaimed music publication DJ MAG with its own all-star lineup of DJs from the highest realms of EDM stardom.

Make no mistake, this is one of the most seismic lineups for Spring Awakening yet — and we still haven't even touched Phase Two, which will be released next week!

React Presents and Jam Productions are thrilled to announce the initial artist lineup for Mamby On The Beach 2019! Chicago’s only beachside summer music festival will return for its fifth year on Friday, August 23rd and Saturday, August 24th at Montrose Beach. The beautiful new location, conveniently located on the city's North Side, will offer additional space to accommodate three stages, beach-friendly games, and all-inclusive activities.

In 2019 Mamby On The Beach will be bigger than ever: the fifth anniversary of the festival, which began by featuring musical acts from an assortment of genres, has grown to represent a more diverse and inclusive lineup than ever before.

Mamby’s 2019 lineup boasts a strong female presence and proudly features members of the LGBTQ community, which reflects the festival’s strong support of gender equality and LGBTQ-friendly environment for attendees, performers and queer allies alike. As always, Mamby welcomes and celebrates all genders and orientations and will partner with Our Music My Body to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all fans while they enjoy a weekend’s worth of amazing entertainment and activities.

This year's headliners are BROCKHAMPTON, TROYE SIVAN, ZHU, SYLVAN ESSO, VIRTUAL SELF, and FLYING LOTUS 3D. Supporting acts include QUINN XCII, PHANTOGRAM, SANTIGOLD, JUSTIN MARTIN, DJ SEINFELD, SUMMER WALKER, A R I Z O N A, SOFI TUKKER,  WASHED OUT (DJ SET), NAO, WAJATTA (comprised of Reggie Watts and John Tejada), and more. Additional artists will be announced very soon.

Mamby's famed More The Music series will also return with all-inclusive activities including silent disco yoga sessions, nutritional and wellness workshops, beach-friendly games, live painting, tarot card and palm readings, meticulous art installations, and makeover options from the Braid Bar, Henna and Body Art Domes. A schedule of More Than Music activities will be announced closer to the festival.

For attendees who want to take a dip in the lake, a barefoot stroll through the sand, or a musical romp alongside the festival’s exhilarated fans, Mamby will once again provide the perfect, sun-soaked getaway. React Presents, revealed today the daily lineup for the AUTUMN EQUINOX addition of its SPRING AWAKENING MUSIC FESTIVAL (“SAMF”) taking place at Addams/Medill Park in Chicago, IL on October 2-3, 2021.
