The first round of artists performing at the Summer Camp Music Festival arrived today. The 12th annual Summer Camp Music Festival will take place May 25 -27, 2012 at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois.

moe. and Umphrey's McGee will once again be headlining Summer Camp, anchoring the festival with three nights a piece, as the event  features over 100 bands at 7 stages over the course of four days.

Not-So-Early Bird Tickets are available now for $160 plus fees - online only at summercampfestival.com. VIP and RV passes will be made available in early 2012, children ages 6-12 are half price at the gates only and those under 6 are admitted with an adult paid admission.

Summer Camp is known for its spacious, open fields for shows, trademark late-night events, pristine campgrounds and an epic fireworks display - as well as a tight-knit community of music lovers who stay connected online all year long. 

At this time, the event is asking fans to write a letter to Santa explaining why you want Summer Camp tickets for Christmas.  Letters can be videos, poems, songs, dances, pictures, paintings, or something else; the top 10 entries will be selected and put up for a vote on the Summer Camp Facebook page. With this announcement also comes the release of Sunday 1-Day GA tickets. The Sunday 1-Day pass allows patrons to enter the festival on the morning of August 22nd and enjoy all the festival has to offer, including camping for Sunday Night!

Earlier in the week, organizers also revealed the roster for the Red Barn Late-Night shows. These late-night sets from Doom Flamingo, Sunsquabi, Yonder Mountain String Band, and others take place after the music ends on the main stages each night. Saturday’s Red Barn show will feature the world debut of a very special CloZee b2b LSDREAM set with Maddy O'Neal.

Due to the limited capacity of the barn, a separate ticket purchase is required to get into these shows. 3-Day GA Passes, Volunteer Deposits, and a limited amount of VIP Upgrades are still available at SummerCampFestival.com/tickets.
