Marin's favorite son (and biggest rock star) Bob Weir and the North Bay's iconic venue launching a whole new offering.  They're calling it Sweetwater in the Sun and it's going down Sun Sept 23 at Stafford Lake Park in Novato. This is a family friendly event, and in addition to our main stage (lineup below) we have a kids stage with 2 kids bands, face painting, magic, bubbles, arts & crafts and more.  Our legendary chef Gordon Drysdale is also doing all the food, raising the bar on what folks can expect from "festival food."

Internationally renowned Northern California music venue Sweetwater Music Hall today announces a five show residency in welcoming back Americana roots singer-songwriter Jackie Greene (former member of the iconic Black Crowes) beginning on December 16, 2021.

As a self-proclaimed road warrior, Jackie is excited for the gig at Sweetwater, “I’m looking forward to coming back to the Sweetwater. We always have great shows there and it really feels like home. We’ve got lots of friends out there and magic is bound to occur!  Can’t wait to see ya!!”

Across the 5 shows, fans can expect to hear Jackie perform a range of fan favorites, as well as a few surprises from Jackie’s latest EP, the critically acclaimed The Modern Lives Vol. 2.

After formally announcing their reopening last week, Sweetwater has an eclectic and powerful lineup starting in late Summer 2021 into Winter 2021 with tickets and dates available below. More shows at Sweetwater will be announced in the coming weeks as the venue plans to move full steam ahead into 2022.

Sweetwater Music Hall is also proud to be hosting a full line up through December 2021 with artists such as Dave Grisman, Zepparella, George Porter Jr., Jackie Venson and others. (See below for full list)

Sweetwater Music Hall, the iconic live music venue and 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization, has announced an exciting lineup of upcoming events. Established in 1972, Sweetwater Music Hall has been a cornerstone of the Bay Area music scene, presenting a diverse range of genres in an intimate setting that unites artists and audiences of all ages.

Sweetwater Music Hall is dedicated to cultivating creativity, nurturing talent, and making the arts accessible to all.
