Kentucky multi-instrumentalist Britton Patrick Morgan will release his self-produced debut album, High Lonesome Throne, on May 25.  Morgan offers eight tracks of warm endearing lyrics, unfeigned storytelling and incredible yet intricate instrumentals.  “I'm very much a product of my place and time, and my Kentucky roots I wouldn't trade for anything.  I really love old traditions but I embrace new musical ideas and progressive arrangements,” explains the former Alaskan fisherman and off-grider.  The album, available for pre-order now, prominently features the talented Cheyenne Mize and the legendary bass player for Johnny Cash, Dave Roe.

Dallas Dorsey will release his self-titled sophomore effort June 29. The Opelika, Al. guitar man has been touring with mentor and hometown buddy, Adam Hood, since 2006. Through chance meetings with Dave Cobb and other creatives that run in the same circle, Dorsey was able to work on his own songwriting to develop a sound he describes as "distinctly southern." The five new tracks embody the spirit of a road weary musician with touches of warm soul and grit. Dorsey will continue to tour with Hood through the summer and play solo one-offs here and there.
