August 2017

This year FREAKY DEAKY returns as a multi-city takeover across the Midwest! Featuring over 20 artists throughout four cities, everyone’s favorite Halloween party will host multiple events in MILWAUKEE, CHICAGO, GRAND RAPIDS and ANN ARBOR. React Presents is thrilled to expand the longstanding party series and bring the fun to fans across the Midwest.

In the last decade, one the North Bay Area and wine country’s premier venues has become Weill Hall at Sonoma State University. Housed in the Green Music Center, this indoor/outdoor hybrid venue space is one of a kind. The theater has stunning wooden seats and a double-tiered balcony, while the outdoor lawn seating is ideal for year long daytime and nighttime shows. Despite its sizeable capacity, it feels homey and intimate with projector screens displaying multi-shot coverage of the stage up-close.

As of today, supergroup formations and the daily lineups for Brooklyn Comes Alive 2017 are officially here! Additionally, the festival is now offering single day tickets, as well as a ticket payment plan.

Proud to be firmly installed in the new-funk movement, KUNG FU is quickly popularizing their unique sonic contribution, blurring the line between intense electro-fusion, and blistering dance arrangements.  Making fusion music "cool" again, the band draws on influences such as early Headhunters and Weather Report, and merges those ideas with a contemporary EDM informed sensibility.  Imagine 70's funk-fusion meets a modern dance party!

Singer songwriter Craig Gerdes "rolled into Nashville, on four bald tires, on his beat up, old 4-door Plymouth car...with a stack of songs he'd written, and some old school country pickin, he was gonna be a country music star..." Says the opening line of his autobiographical song "Redneck Sons a Bitches" that tells the summarized tale of his discontented journey from Nashville rejection to releasing his debut album Smokin' Drinkin' & Gamblin' on the Indiana based Sol Records.
