Bear Creek Music & Arts Festival Poster Contest Voting Open Now

Bear Creek Music & Arts Festival made an open call to fans this spring to design the official 2012 Bear Creek Poster and now, the festival is calling on fans to vote for the winner. This year, 38 amazing artists submitted entries to the Poster Design contest and it's time to narrow down the list. In the first round, which ends at midnight on Saturday, June 2, fans can vote through the Bear Creek Facebook page. To vote, visit and like the Bear Creek Facebook Page, then visit the "Photos" section of the page. To view all 38 entries and vote, click on Bear Creek Poster Contest and "Like" the poster you love the best (please choose only one).

The top 10 most liked entries will advance to the second round. In addition to these 10 entries, management will also add 2 more entries that will advance to round 2, where fans will vote the entrants down from 12 to 3. The festival will add one last entry to make the Final 4. Fans and event producers will vote on a winner, who will receive $1000 cash plus 2 VIP passes ($800 value) to Bear Creek 2012. Early-Bird Ticket Prices increase on June 3
Don't miss the last few days of Early Bird Ticket Prices. At midnight on Saturday June 2, Bear Creek early-bird weekend tickets will jump from $130 to $150. VIP ticket prices will also jump $25 each so buy your tickets early and save some money. All Weekend Passes include camping, taxes, and all fees. The Music!
The 2012 artist lineup features many Bear Creek veterans and some shining new faces too. Umphrey’s McGee tops the bill and is joined by Lotus, Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk, The New Mastersounds, Zach Deputy, The Budos Band, Perpetual Groove (two shows), Bobby Rush, March 4th Marching Band (two shows), Break Science, Digital Tape Machine and more than 25 additional artists. Also, for the first time in its history, Bear Creek will welcome guest curators Daptone Records and Royal Family Records to schedule the Bear Creek Stage lineup. The Daptone Super Soul Revue will feature Sharon Jones and The Dap-Kings, Charles Bradley and His Extraordinaires, The Budos Band, The Sugarman 3 and The Como Mamas. A Royal Family Affair will host Soulive, Lettuce (2 sets), Breakscience, Nigel Hall, Alecia Chakour and more.
