Bear Creek Music Festival Adds Artists & Releases Schedule

As the summer festival season comes to a close, Bear Creek Music and Arts Festival gears up for an incredible sixth year. Held at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL, Bear Creek is steeped in the tradition of funk music and the exceptional lineup reflects the eclectic nature of the scene. The lineup – which already features Umphrey's McGee, Lotus, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, The New Mastersounds, Zach Deputy, George Porter Jr. & The Runnin Pardners – grows stronger today with the addition of Eric Krasno’s Chapter 2, Alan Evans Trio and Savi Fernandez Band. Also joining the lineup are Artists at Large Pee Wee Ellis, Will Bernard, Freekbass, Jonathan Scales and Michelle Sarah.An exciting lineup highlight at this year’s festival, Daptone Records and Royal Family Records have been asked to schedule the Bear Creek Stage lineup, acting as guest curators for the festival. The Daptone Super Soul Revue will feature Sharon Jones and The Dap-Kings, Charles Bradley and His Extraordinaires, The Budos Band, The Sugarman 3 and The Como Mamas. A Royal Family Affair will host Soulive, Lettuce (2 sets), Breakscience, Nigel Hall, Alecia Chakour and more.
