Camp Euforia, Iowa’s premier independent music festival is excited to announce its 2017 lineup featuring festival hosts and founders Eufórquestra as well as Beats Antique, BoomBox and many more. The 14th annual festival will take place July 14-15, as always on Jerry’s Farm in Lone Tree, Iowa.
Every summer, a few thousand people gather on Jerry’s Farm for a weekend full of euforic music, good vibes and to make memories in an atmosphere that allows fans to experience live music in a unique way. Camp Euforia started in 2004 as Eufórquestra's "Fan Appreciation Party." Since then, it has grown in to a full-blown music festival featuring 20+ artists over two days on multiple stages.
“Each year the festival exceeds our expectations and I think one of the unique things about Camp Euforia is, although it has significantly grown, we have still managed to keep the feel of it very intimate,” says Eric Quiner, Executive Director of Camp Euforia and former member of Eufórquestra. “Camp Euforia has created a community that connects people that love music, it provides an escape from the daily grind, and it has helped forge life-long friendships. When Jerry Hotz opened up his farm to us over a decade ago, Camp Euforia was a special gift we could give to our fans and now it’s grown to become an experience we believe every music fan should come out and be a part of.”
Eufórquestra's goal in creating Camp Euforia has always been a seamless gelling of community and music. The festival focuses on the Iowa City music scene, but each year a handful of performers from across the country and Eufórquestra's touring friends are invited in to come and experience the magic.
Tickets are available now for a special early bird price of $85 for a two-day festival pass and $105 to add on Thursday night pre-party camping. Once early bird tickets sell out, prices will increase to $95 and $115 respectively for General Admission tickets. New this year, RV parking passes are being sold in advance for $50 and include one Thursday night pre-party ticket.
