Derek Dames Ohl, bass player and vocalist from Flash Mountain Flood and a well-known solo artist has delivered a special tune for the holiday season, accompanied by a music video full of nostalgia. “Blue Skies It’s Christmas Time” is a soft, sincere song that truly pulls at the heartstrings while giving a beautiful nod to Ohl’s home state of Colorado.

Contributions from Kevin D'Angelo (drums/Flash Mountain Flood), Campbell Thomas (keys/Tenth Mountain Division), and Andrew Cooney (bass/Tenth Mountain Division) brought this track to life.

A note from Ohl on the release:

Happy Holidays! Here’s a little ditty I wrote last Christmas Eve, thrilled to finally have it released to the world! Recorded safe and socially distant at home with my friends and mixed/mastered by myself! A piece of my heart for you and your loved ones! Oh and keep a lookout for my debut EP to be released sometime next year!
