Indie Jam Band Lucid Phase has released their new bluegrass single “People In My Life” featuring established violinist, Nora Germain. It follows their previous single, “Wind Is Gone”, released in July and comes ahead of their upcoming second studio album, Orchid Thief, due to release later this Fall.

“When writing ‘People In My Life’, we aimed to keep a traditional bluegrass feel on instruments featured in the track; you can listen for a soulful fiddle, banjo, harmonica, and percussion elements like the castanets and washboard. Really pushing our range on this one just going full western with it was the nature of the game where we wanted to tap into that creative side of ourselves. Big shout out to Nora for coming by the studio and blessing us with her violin & fiddle skills. Truly a Pro and friend of Lucid!”  – Lucid Phase

“People In My Life” was created as a team effort by the members of Lucid Phase: written by Garret Laver (Lead Vocals), produced and mixed by Cyrus Maleki (Guitar) and Jacob Flack (Percussion). The song also includes Nora Germain on Violin, Matt Keith on Banjo, and mastered by Chris Gehringer at Sterling Sound. The band was inspired to write this track to pay homage to their peers and the relationships they have cultivated and nurtured over the years. “People In My Life” will be included as the last track on their upcoming album Orchard Thief and is the perfect cliffhanger to prelude their third album Homegrown, which they are currently writing and recording.
