Sol Driven Train's performances combine upbeat melodies and afro-caribbean rhythms with observational humor and a smokin' horn section. Featuring rotating lead vocalists and multi-instrumentalists, Sol Driven Train enjoy a unique musical identity. The low country roots rock band released the full length album, Underdog, earlier this year which Relix Magazine calls “... soulful, energetic, feel-good music to listen to anywhere.”  Sol Driven Train were named "Rock Band of the Year" (2011) and “Jam Band of the Year” (2012) by Charleston City Paper, and Relix Magazine called them an artist "On The Verge."
