June 19, 2020: In light of our nation’s current events, a supergroup composed of some of Denver’s best bluegrass pickers has been formed to back a newly announced fund created by the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Foundation, whose vision is to support diversity and inclusion as essential to the well-being and continued growth of bluegrass music.

Between touring the festival circuit and putting the finishing touches on a forthcoming EP in July, the Lexington, KY-based Magnolia Boulevard was shaping up for a busy summer. Not to be deterred in the wake of Covid-19, the band decided to release a powerful live session of its new single, “Ride."

An upbeat expression with funk and soul influences, “Ride” explores the art of finding joy in little the little things.

The Neal Casal Music Foundation (NCMF) has been created to honor the memory of the late great, multi-dimensional artist through an ongoing series of charitable endeavors. The initial focus of the 501c3 non-profit is to provide instruments and lessons to students in New Jersey and New York state schools where Casal was born and raised, as well as to make donations to much needed mental health organizations that support musicians in need.
