The Jauntee are at it again, announcing a national tour spanning from Colorado to Georgia and all points in between. This announcement comes after yet another stacked year of festivals and national tours alongside Papadosio, Kyle Hollingsworth, Andy Frasco & The UN, and many more. The run will kick off with a double header in Denver at the Breckenridge Brewery Hootenanny with The Disco Biscuits and in Boulder at The Fox Theatre.

The second day of KAABOO Del Mar Festival 2019 began bright and early and quickly heated up in more ways than one. An unusually humid San Diego day enveloped the Del Mar fairgrounds as thousands of music fan beat to stream into the venue. A rock-laden line up greeted them with blazing guitars and thumping rhythms. Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes played a searing early afternoon set in much the same vein as Little Steven did the day before.

Today the Earl Scruggs Center and WNCW are proud to announce the inaugural Earl Scruggs Music Festival, coming September 4-5, 2020 to Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, NC. Celebrating the legacy of an American music legend, the Earl Scruggs Music Festival will bring together artists from bluegrass, Americana, blues, and many other roots music genres to celebrate the pioneering vision of Earl Scruggs. Few other artists in American history have had such an impact as Scruggs.

New Acid Americana duo, Katie & Andrea, featuring singer/songwriter/guitarist Katie Skene and pedal steel/fiddle player Andrea Whitt, are releasing their debut single, “Sweet & High” on Friday, October 4, 2019. Based in Los Angeles, Katie & Andrea have each worked for many years in the Americana scene, sharing the stage with prominent artists including Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Warren Haynes, Zucchero, and Shania Twain.

Steve Kimock and his adept friends delighted NYC with an early Friday night performance in the West Village at Le Poisson Rouge, featuring plenty of his signature guitar brilliance. Fresh off the release of new track “While We Wait,” Kimock is currently wrapping up a short, but sweet east coast fall tour. Tonight’s show included a memorial dedication for the recently departed Robert Hunter, and a special birthday shout out for one of the band members.

For any of you who may be going to Suwannee Roots Revival a day early you should know there will be a pre-party benefit on Wednesday at 7pm, “Roots For A Reason,” held at the Music Hall where all proceeds are split between LOMAF (Live Oak Music and Arts Foundation) and the Suwannee Kids Camp. Performing are The Firewater Tent Revival, Billy Gilmore and Friends, and Brett Bass & Melted Plectrum.

Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, and Dave Matthews brought the 34th annual Farm Aid concert to the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wisconsin on Saturday, September, 21st.  The 11 plus hours concert featured sets by each of the four-core board members as well as other artists including Tanya Tucker, Bonnie Raitt, Luke Combs, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Jamey Jo

Friday, September 13th turned out to be a lucky day for thousands of concertgoers as huge crowds gathered all across the Del Mar fairgrounds for the elaborate KAABOO music festival. The opening day of the fifth annual gathering featured a variety of upscale amenities for an affluent crowd of music lovers combined with a diverse musical line up of big-name entertainment. VIP ticket holders were treated to an echelon of upscale perks, including a private music stage and a poolside view of the main stage.

Amid a brief West Coast stint, Bob Weir and Wolf Bros graced the newly rebranded Oxbow RiverStage in Napa, California last Saturday. The trio led by the legendary guitarist and bandleader alongside constant collaborator Jay Lane on drums and prestigious producer/bassist Don Was has deservingly garnered an attentive following of its own. For many Bobby fans, his best work after the Grateful Dead was with RatDog throughout the mid-1990s into the 2000s.
