St. Paul & The Broken Bones add new dates to their 2023 North American headline tour today. The new shows will bring the much-lauded eight piece—led by Paul Janeway—to Macon, Georgia’s Hargray Capitol Theatre; Greenville, South Carolina’s Peace Pavilion; Augusta, Georgia’s Miller Theater and Wilmington, North Carolina’s Greenfield Lake Amphitheater.

MerleFest, presented by Window World, will honor Doc Watson’s 100th birthday, and commemorate the festival’s 35th year in 2023. To celebrate the historic milestone, organizers intend to showcase MerleFest’s unique history, celebrate the festival’s diverse, genre-crossing catalog, and present unique artist collaborations to honor the festival’s founding folk icon.

Nashville based acclaimed guitarist, singer, songwriter JD Simo today releases his new LP, Songs From the House of Grease.

On this new collection, JD  showcases his artistic growth as Songs From the House of Grease opens with JD’s take on hill country blues legend Mississippi Fred McDowell's classic “Mortgage On My Soul”.

As an alternative to the traditional campout festival, the fourth 4848 Festival is once again offering festival and music lovers an evolved summer experience. Taking place July 13 - 15 atop Snowshoe Mountain in Snowshoe, WV (at 4848’ above sea level), patrons get everything a festival has to offer, while experiencing premier accommodations within the resort’s Mountain Village, complete with modern amenities atypical to a three-day summer festival.

‘Genre-Fluid’ quintet Kendall Street Company has fittingly  announced their second annual Kendall Street Is For Lovers Tour which spans five different cities each week over the course of February. Every Tuesday the band will hit the Milk Parlour in Blacksburg. Wednesdays will feature them performing at The Golden Pony in Harrisonburg. Thursdays the band’s hometown will host them at The Southern.

Legendary funk musician and Cincinnati hometown icon Bootsy Collins announced the release of his new track “The Ickey Shuffle,” a funky anthem inspired by and featuring fellow legend and former Bengals running back Ickey Woods. The new song also features Bootsy’s son Ouiwey Collins, and the video features special guests the Cincinnati Ben-Gals. “The Ickey Shuffle” is a tribute and unifying statement to encourage sportsmanship, funk and peace.
