Hardly Strictly Bluegrass is pleased to announce the times and dates for its first time back at Golden Gate Park since 2019. Across six stages and three nights, the entirely free festival will feature artists performing a wide range of music including indie, alternative rock, jazz, funk, folk, blues, world music, and of course, bluegrass.

Picture this: it’s 2013 in Edwards, CO, a fervent blizzard hitting while Greensky Bluegrass & The Infamous Stringdusters rip on the main stage. As the music grew, so did the community, and WinterWonderGrass was born. From that first sold out show, to the park at Nottingham Lake in Avon, to finding a home in Steamboat Springs, the Colorado community has been there every step of the way. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in 2023!

Hailed by Forbes as “one of America’s most unique festival offerings,” Bourbon & Beyond returned in a big way this past weekend, bringing in over 140,000 attendees, breaking an attendance record for the festival.

Hoot and holla! Flannel Jam, Levitate’s Fall music festival, returns for its third year this Columbus Day weekend at a New England town near you!

On September 3, 2017, attendees at the Detroit Jazz Festival witnessed a very special one-time-only performance: a historic set by a multi-generational jazz supergroup composed of Wayne Shorter, Terri Lyne Carrington, esperanza spalding, and Leo Genovese. Now, almost five years later, fans will finally have the opportunity to experience this magnificent performance, and one of Wayne Shorter's last live performances.

THE THING festival returned to the historic Fort Worden of Port Townsend Washington after a three year hiatus. 'Fort Worden'-- the idyllic filming location for 'An Officer and a Gentleman'-- is presently a decommissioned Navy base that has been renovated into a college. Its sprawling parade grounds next to the ocean make a pretty location for a festival, and for those who camp, the nearby hillside is a picturesque campground with maritime views.

When I saw the location for Rumble Down, I smiled. I wanted more of my family (kids and grandkids) to experience a small jam-grass festival. Four of the grandkids are multi-year Shoe Fest veterans but more of them need the experience and my tribe is all in the Springfield vicinity. The festival site, The Kampground, is within bicycling distance for one of my sons. This would be a bunch of first-time adventures for the family.
