Texas Blues Guitar slinger Gary Clark Jr. returned to the Fillmore Miami Beach on Saturday March 9th, off the heels of a Saturday Night Live performance in the middle of February.  Clark and his 4- piece backing band, are out on the road promoting his latest release and third studio album “This Land” (Warner Brothers Records).

Jam scene visionaries Joe Russo’s Almost Dead are underway on their current 2019 winter tour, and this past week performed at Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe, PA, the following night at College Street Music Hall in New Haven, CT, and last night at The Wellmont Theatre in Montclair, NJ.

New York-based family band New Kingston continues to be one of the most prolific and relatable bands in the U.S. reggae community and the announcement of their rock2rootsproject continues their upward trajectory. “Fyah Nuh Hot Like You” will be the first single from the rock2roots series, which will showcase the many styles and vibrations New Kingston brings both on the road and in the studio. The single was released on March 1, 2019, via their longtime label Easy Star Records.

The Jauntee have just announced an extensive National Spring Tour for 2019. One of the longest running Grateful Dead tribute bands in the world, Shakedown Street, makes its home in and around the Rocky Mountain region of North America. Spawned from jam sessions at the Ancient Mariner bar in Manitou Springs, Colorado in 1987, Shakedown Street quickly grew in popularity, and garnered a legion of loyal fans who refer to themselves as “Shakeheads”. In a few short years, throngs of “Shakeheads” could be found on the highways and byways of the Rocky Mountains, making their way to another Shakedown Street show.

The sleepy little town of Carpinteria, California was treated to an exceptional concert by legendary singer-songwriter and Banjo aficionado John McEuen. One of the founding members of The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, McEuen brought his new group, the String Wizards to the historic Alcazar Theatre on a cold winter night, February, 13th.
