Moon Hooch have announced the release of a new EP, 'Light It Up,' due April 6. Recorded at the bucolic and tranquil Gnomehaus just outside of Burlington, VT during a rare extended break from their perpetual touring schedule, it presents three songs that the band has been perfecting in their live show over an extended period of time. Known for their raucous dance party-inducing performances, it's only fitting that Moon Hooch capture that same raw primal energy in the studio.

In their earliest days, Moon Hooch were known for epic dance party raves they would spontaneously throw on New York City subway platforms.  So raucous were these events that the group was eventually banned from the Bedford Ave L train stop in Brooklyn by the NYPD.  The band's new video for "Rough Sex" is a visual metaphor depicting how Moon Hooch has risen out the subways to the rooftops above and not even the mighty NYPD can shut them down anymore.

Moon Hooch and Marco Benevento have announced a co-headline tour this October. Both artists are celebrated for performances that result in ecstatic dance parties as they simultaneously deliver electrifying musicianship.

Moon Hooch have announced Fall 2017 tour dates. The 18-show headline run will make stops throughout the Midwest and Rocky Mountains, including their biggest performances yet in Chicago, Minneapolis and Denver. The Brooklyn-based double sax and drums trio, who Brooklyn Vegan declared "bring the party to wherever they play," conclude the trek in the Southeast with two nights in Atlanta and Jacksonville. Tickets for all shows go on sale Friday, June 2 at 1PM ET.

Moon Hooch will call the West Coast home in April and May with a string of 12 dates from San Francisco to Bellingham, including two nights at Nectar Lounge in Seattle, two nights at Doug Fir Lounge in Portland and a Friday night at Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. When not performing live, the Brooklyn-based trio will be in the woods of the Pacific Northwest recording music for their next studio album.
